Good morning. Oreo is receiving the insulin well he has his snack 3 hours ago I’m about to feed and dose .10 I’m nervous he will go low. I’m working from home so I can check him.
 
You are home so he will be safe. Remember he “might” have a strong reaction to tge first dose and he might not. You are starting in a low dose and might find after the depot builds it’s good or he needs more. That will take 5-7 days. You have got this.
Why no insulin tomorrow?

I have someone that can feed him but they are not comfortable with checking his BS. He’s not going to cooperate because he’s skittish. They are willing to dose him and I would pre dose the syringe but with no one to check his BS I’m being very hesitant dosing him.

Just did his +5 check and it’s half what it was 2 hours ago
 
PMPS 73 preparing his dose now. If I recall from last year we are going to be consistent with his doses? Just hoping he doesn’t dip lowwww. Will check him again in 2 hours and again in 4
 
I’m so glad you started with 0.10. I think 1.0 was mentioned, I’m wondering if he’s not out of remission after all. Fingers and paws crossed.
 
That makes more sense. If 0.10 produced this kind of results my comments above might be right.
