Good morning!

Lucy woke me up 5 minutes before the alarm by meowing and licking my face.
She ate her 1st breakfast by herself.
This morning, she screamed when I poked her for the insulin shot.
I must have hit a nerve? Poor girl.
I also found a huge red bruise on her skin :sad:
Either from the sub-Q fluid yesterday or the acupuncture.
Acupuncture needles are so thin, so most likely from the sub-Q fluid .....
I hope it doesn't hurt....

Morning Lucy looks like Lucy doing good,I hate hitting a nerve on Lucky he gives me this look as if to say back off B----- doesn't want me to do it again but he stays just shakes his head...Hope you day is good :smile:

Almost green.....
She waited for her 2nd & 3rd breakfasts to come to her patiently, so I gave in and finger-fed her....
I'm staying another hour to make sure she is not dropping too steeply.

And ouch. Yeah you might have hit a nerve. I don't think I've done that yet but I've hit the vein before. It's fun rushing for a tissue before Cain flicks his ear. :lol:

Nice numbers for Lucy. I hate it when I hurt Furball with a shot. It happens every now and then if I stick her at the wrong angle. Poor Lucy. She'll forgive you though. She loves you.

I am so glad today didn't get as hot as I though it might be.
Lucy is doing good.

She ate her 1st dinner by herself, but wanted finger-feeding for her 2nd and 3rd.
That's OK.
As long as she eats, she gets to pick "self service" or "finger-feeding".

It just occurred to me that I can't remember when Ginger last pooped....
She hasn't today, and can't remember is she did yesterday or was it Saturday???
I sure hope it wasn't Thursday.....
I get so caught up with Lucy, and don't pay enough attention to Ginger.
Poor GinGin....
I'm going to make some Ginger time tonight.

Hi Mariko,

I love the "self-serve or finger feed'!! Glad Lucy is doing so well. I have done an ouchie with the needle too, Cleo never yelped, but jumped and tried to get away. I felt horrible, but she forgave me :-D

It is easy to become so focused on our sugar kitty that we forget about the others. I have to remind myself to spend some special time with them. Then once in a while I spend a little time with DH too :lol:

I hope she's feeling well, Mariko. I think if we have more than one cat, we have to do an xcel SS to keep track of when everyone has pooped and peed each day! :lol: :lol:

Lucy is feeling well, I just hope you'll show me more greens.

I have one daily journal assigned to Lucy, and another journal that Ginger & I share.
(I don't record my pees & poos, I record my appointments and Ginger's pees, poos, vomit, etc etc.)
Ginger and I don't have much to record, so we share.
I've just been forgetting to record about Gingin.... bad momma....
