Good Morning LL

Bean went btb this morning, and woke to find Checkers beside me, just waiting. That was a pleasant shocker :-D . He never comes to bed with me anymore. I guess he wanted me to see his pretty blue number :-D
He wasn't hungry for breffis, maybe because he ate at his +9 test. He may have saved it, until just before I got up.

Haven't given pill yet; I can't seem to wake up....he's sleeping on desk next to me....civvies are sleeping somewhere too.
We had one sunny day yesterday, now it's back to dark, dreary.
The air is so damp, I swear I can smell every wild critter and neighbor cat, that has marked my property, this past month. Blech!
Happiness is seeing the bright, pretty wildflowers out there. :-D

Good Morning Barb, I'm not sure if Hoot and I have ever stopped by to say Hi....Hi :lol: I know what ya mean about the damp air and the cat spray smells "YUCK" I'm in Florida and we have had sooooo much rain in the last month, we can't even mow our lawn, it's a swamp! Glad to hear Checkers spent some bed time with you this morning :-D Thats always a great way to start the day. :-D Have a great day ;-)

Hi Barb. Nice to see Checkers make that slide into the blue zone.

Sorry your weather is so dreary. We finally got some very much needed rain this morning. Unfortunitely it poored for 30 minutes and stopped. The ground is dry and hard like concrete so most of the water just ran off the grass into the street and down the culvert.

Sending you some of our overstocked sunshine. Have a great day.

Nice work Checkers! Take your mom and get a nap. It sounds like she could use another btb.

I sure hope your weather lets up and you get some more sunshine. I agree with you on the wildflowers! The chicory is just starting to bloom here. I love it because it looks like a field of floating blue flowers.

Darn! I didn't want to post that last blue, so tested with another meter...103 :lol:

We're having a beautiful day. I'm so happy to be out and getting the yard prettied up. Maybe one day, there will be time to actually sit in that chair that needs to be painted. :roll:

Man, I hate to admit this about my precious angel boy, but does anyone have a way to keep a cat from peeing on things that are "different" to him?
Susan brought me a beautiful office chair recently, that didn't 'fit' me, so she was going to take it home next day, for herself.
I knew that Checks would pee on it, so covered it with heavy blankets, and plastic, shoved it in a tight corner, surrounded by the big box it came in, and a cedar chest, with a basket of clothes on top of it!!.....yes, I overdid the protection!

What did he do? Got as close as he could and PEED IN THE BASKET OF CLOTHES!! ohmygod_smile :evil: :evil:

I have to practically undress outside, when I've been to Susan's house, for fear he'll pee on the spot where I step in.

Anybody else care to admit they have this problem? PLEEEEEEEEEZE!!! :?:

Hi Barb, nice slide for Checkers. Right now Mags loves the area around the LB, and once in a while partly in the LB. :? Oh no, with the basket of clothes. Checkers, what's up with that? I hope the rest of the day is going okay, Barb.

Nice cycle for Mr. Cuddly Checkers! :mrgreen: Zener's been peeing in inappropriate places lately too. Ugh.

How sweet of Checkers to wait for you to get back up this morning. Sorry about the peeing where he shouldn't. I don't have any suggestions. Nice numbers for Checkers today.

What a nice day for Checkers - and for you, waking up with him next to you! LOL that you retested that 100, especially after what you posted in Trix's condo earlier today :lol: ! Maybe next time you'll hit green with that retest trick :mrgreen: !

:lol: :lol: Rusty loves his litterbox so much that when we are outdoors he goes inside to pee !

Too bad about your laundry basket, Barb!! But look at the nice day of numbers Checks had.

Enjoy the evening. We had sunshine in the mid-late afternoon and it was beautiful.

Wow, two nice cycles in a row for Checkers! And cuddly today. :-D Pretty impressive. Not so impressive the laundry basket. :twisted: When Neko is high, she has been known to use things on the floor (DH's new clothes in a shopping bag, for example). My sewing room floor is a lot less cluttered than it used to be. Feliway plug-ins can sometimes help with inappropriate peeing. I haven't used it for a while, because it's thankfully a lot less common occurrence now.
 
Hi Barb - impressive! Checkers is looking great - blues and green today! Love the numbers, and hope he doesn't keep you up too late.

bummer on the LB thing and the basket of clothes and Cheeks feeling the need to nail new things. I had a civvie once, years ago, that would pee on my shoes it they did not smell like his domain. Never did figure out ho to solve that issue. darn cat!

I hope the rest of your day has been good. :-D
