Good VERY HOT morning, Everyone,

Today promises to be even hotter than yesterday. Stu will be on his own today, going to Doodles' and Gotti's birthday party and cooking, eating, drinking, surfing in the California surf. The kitchen crew will be busy, and they will have a lot of fun. Mr. Cat is starting off the day with a reasonable number. He ate everything in his automat last night, contributed to the lb, and at the moment is hanging out in the cellar, where it is 10 degrees cooler!!
We will be out all day--from about +2.5 until PMPS. We're going to an annual picnic at a friend's camp on the St. Lawrence River, about 2 1/2 hours from here. It will be hot, but at least we'll be by the water and will get in lots of swimming. So everyone have a good day. Back to visit condos tonight.

Oh, chef Stu, please come on down a little bit more today! I don't think Spot will be joining the kitchen crew today. He is at the vettie place waiting for them to pull three of his little teefies, so I think it's best that he stay at home tonight to rest. He will be thinking of you all, tho so have a niptini for him!

Ella, I must say that you are one of the busiest people I know and you certainly are living life to it's fullest! Enjoy your day today!

Stu - looking good today. I, on the other had, are a few floors up - kinda sucks... so I am working very hard to find you and Shadow on the lower floors. I hate this rubber kitty stuff.... I am ready to go for Doodles party today, and all the other fun stuff we will be doing. what a blast! It is a bummer though that Spot is at the vet - he has toothies issues. poor spot! yuck ... this heat stuff is for the birds! Everyone is trying to be cool around here as well but it's a losing battle ... looks like stu will be soon seeing blue and green today!

Ella-Swimming in a lake in upstate New York sounds so wonderful! I hope you enjoy yourself and stay as cool as possible. Sounds like these kitties have quite the plans for today, even before the party.

Mannie and I are coming over early to keep you company, and maybe we can get Shadow and Blackie to come too. We are going to bring niptinis and hang out on your porches, okay? We can do some food prep too so we don't have as much to do tonight. See you soon!

Hi all you kitties! Thanks for coming over to help me get the fixins together and for bringing the catmint tea and the niptinis and hanging out on my porches. Too bad it was so HOT on the porches, but the cellar was nice, don't you think so? Only I know what my numbers were today, but PMPS is just barely yellow, so my mamabean thinks that either I was flat and climbed slowly, or that I had a bit of a bounce. I'll keep her in the dark. So now it's off to Doodles' birthday party with our hampers of food. Too bad Spotty couldn't come earlier, but we'll save him some of those cooling drinks (he might not feel like eating without 3 of his teeth!). Off we go to PARTY!!

P.s. I "saved" a lot of the food my mamabean put out for me today because I didn't know when my beans would get home. I gobbled it up the minute they walked in the door.

Hi Everyone, The St. Lawrence River was wonderful today: nice breeze (even if it was a hot breeze) and delightfully cool water. We had a crowd of about 18 friends at the picnic (at the camp of an amazing 83-year-old woman who we all take as our role model: she's an expert skier (downhill and x-country), climbs mountains, hikes, bikes, paddles, sails, swims, etc. etc. Wow!

Hey Stu!
See you at the party later on! My momma bean gave me a fur shot tonight so I won't be staying out long, but plan to make the most of it !
