Our hearts are so heavy with grief for Kathie and for her sweet, perfect little Zeusman. Gentle journey, Zeus, to where everything is light and peace and you will be happy, playful Zeus once again. Sending many healing and eating vines to Jupiter, Mags, and Pat's Shadow.
And to all our dear friends in Lantus Land: you never, ever cease to amaze me with your compassion and generosity. We are so honored to "know" each of you because the love and compassion in your hearts is phenomenal. You have given so generously to Jamie and Jupiter. Thank you so much.
LBG is doing well but she has been a bit quiet. I think it might be her chin; she has always been a bit prone to feline acne and even though I scrub her chin every day, it started looking red and irritated yesterday. I started her on some clindamycin topical today. She's eating well and did play some but right now, she is laying on the desk in front of my computer. That little bump I am worried about seems a little smaller today. Thank you Amy and Barb for letting me know that your kitties also have these with no issues. And thanks to all of the others of you who visited yesterday.
I have to wonder if her little trek into yellow last night had anything to do with the chin issue. She is back in green today and I have not changed her dose so I hope the clindamycin is helping.
Thank you all also for the wishes for my DM; her cellulitis is responding to IV a/bs but her BP has skyrocketed to 200/100 (and she takes major BP meds anyway), her arrhythmia is acting up, she's having chest pains, and her heart rate is very fast. They moved her to the cardiac unit and I've been talking to her and my sisters who live there most of this afternoon. They are waiting on her cardiologist. Still haven't decided if I need to go there or not; we'll see what the cardiologist says and if they get some of this under control.
Big hugs for all of you.
