Morning!
Feeling pretty good about this new dose! So far so good . . .
I think I've discovered something that Jonesy is doing that is aggravating Vinnie. It opened my eyes a bit in regards to Vin's behaviour. Jonesy, as he's a chonk, tends to not "squat" very cleanly and tends to always get litter on his butt end. I try to catch/clean when I can, but it's impossible.
I noticed yesterday, he stepped out of the box and then sat on the floor close by. He left a pee puddle!! AUGH! So Jonesy is basically "marking" the house, which I'm sure is what is gets Vinnie amped up, without him realizing he's even marking
(On another note, Good GOD?! Does my house smell like urine?!
)
Anyway, I washed the floor as well as I could, and I've got a whole gallon of Anti-Icky Poo that I'll have to start using again. (Amazing stuff! LOL)
That said, Vinnie is MUCH more calm on the new RX, Amitriptyline. I can now open the hallway dividing door and not have Vinnie rush it. They both seem to have settled into the routine now and I can make this work
Have a great week all,
Darcy
