I'm home tonight...hopefully she'll come out for some spot checks...she seems connected to me psychically...last night i was thinking "i should find her and do a check" and BAM! she came out to me! weird.
it's soon time for her pm shot, and as the night goes on, it gets a wee bit cooler, so i'm sure she'll come out around +2 or 3

I'm quite happy with her numbers...I have to give credit to the new diet though...i think that's a huge part of it.
just got back from the store with a bunch more cans of food. everyone will get some canned food tonight...or, at least, i will be putting some in everyone's dish! it's going to be quit challenging when we live with the drooler again! but i'm sure i can handle it. I'll figure something out.

wow...this is awesome...at +1.5 she came to me...again, as if she wanted to check her own bg! too funny. she just comes up and gets some loving...see's me getting the monitor and whatnot together...and all is good.
right now at 2.5, she's actually just laying on the floor in the common area with the other cats!!!! I can't say that I have EVER seen her do this...she usually hides from everyone...either in her room or behind the couch or under something somewhere! I love it. 4 years later, i've finally figured out how to make her feel comfortable. I feel bad that i didn't discover this sooner...but, at least i've discovered it now (and here she is again...she knows i'm talking/typing about her!)....ok,so she wanted to get tested...she's at a whopping 94!!!! way to go GG!!!

It seems like you've discovered the secret of having a cat with FD. There is a very particular bond that's created. Some of it, no doubt, is due to the attention. But these cats seem to know that all of the poking is dedicated to helping them to feel better and I suspect they see that our lives become more focused around their needs. And in their own very individual ways, they express their gratitude.

I thought I was imagining things but my mom came home last week and she noticed it too.. She said it’s like he likes getting his shot or something.. oh well maybe it’s the treat that comes after!!! cat_pet_icon
But my other cat even seems jealous… like he’s missing the attention… so I give him a little treat too!! For the moral support he gives his brother…

It is quite a bond...I do have three other kitties...two of them come to watch GG get her treatment, and then they ALL get a treat! 
My Mystery is my closest...he HAS to sleep with me at night and demands his snuggle time...but he does share my lap with GG, especially when its time for her meds.
