Yesterday's condo

Happy Sunday LL!

After a busy night, it's been another busy day for me and China! I sure hope she'll just settle into a nice pattern for awhile. I'm getting tired of all these crazy numbers

DM has a pretty bad cold, but when I went to visit her today, she said she'd asked to talk to the staff doctor about getting out of there! She's decided that since she's doing pretty much everything for herself at this point, there's no reason for her to be "warehoused" any longer in skilled care. I reminded her that physical therapy had said during her care plan meeting that as soon as she was doing better, they'd take her over to the Assisted Living side of the building and make sure she was able to take care of herself, so she's made an "appointment" with them to do that on Tuesday. I'm so happy she's decided that she's not done with life just yet!

Now we just have to get her back in her apartment, and hope she feels less worried about "being alone" (because she's really not). Her kitty cat misses her terribly (she lived with me from August through April and still never really wanted much to do with me). She's very much a "One woman cat"!

Here's hoping China will have a quiet night tonight and keep her fuds down. I'm sure a lot of the reason for her dives the last few nights have been due to her not keeping her food down and/or not eating very much.

Nice surf for China today. I hope her tummy settles down and she keeps her food down. I'm glad your DM wants to get out of there. I hope she gets over her cold soon.

China kept down her PMPS meal tonight! YEAH!!!....but of course it didn't seem to break her cycle of dropping quickly at +2...Hopefully she'll slow it down soon (yeah, I know...I'm an eternal optimist....LOL)

Time to get up on that surfboard China!

Glad to hear your mom is better! It is always a good sign when they want to move out of Skilled Nursing....it can be scary as sometimes if they are there too long they give up on everything and don't care anymore....here is to her enjoying the assisted living side of the building and that she is home to her own place soon!

Glad to hear China kept her food down as well....hopefully her tummy is feeling better!

Yay for keeping food down!

I don't know, Chris, but I think China is in a pattern - Lots of lovely greens with the occasional low blue, with just a few yellow bounces for variety! I wouldn't mind the numbers she's been getting!

It's a great sign that you DM not only wants out of the skilled care facility, but that she's taking the initiative to make it happen! Good for her!

Sending healing vines for you DM's cold, and good tummy vines for China. I'm hoping Cinco will join her in the lagoon tonight for a little dip (and I do mean a little dip!).
