Ewwwwwwwwww....look at Trixie this morning.....very nice.

I wear glasses and have a 4x magnifying glass. The magnifier really does help. Got a cheap one at Walgreens. It helps to locate those bad bubbles that like to hide on ya.

Funny you posted that picture, Bruce...I was actually thinking of taking a picture of the syringe this morning just so I could see it that large :lol: ! Too bad we don't have all the time in the world to draw the dose - but if we did, I'd probaby go back in forth between taking pics, looking at them nice-n-big on the computer, and adjusting for hours!

Regular maginification just turns my world into a blur so I really need vision correction. But in addition to vision correction, the eye doc added a little magnification in to these new reading glasses. This is a first for me...while I do need them for drawing the dose, I actually really need them for work, since I make jewelry and therefore work on a teeny scale. It's gonna be interesting...

But yeah - will it really help me distinguish between these doses that are so microscopically close :lol: :lol: :lol: ??? I'll report back on that this evening :mrgreen: !

ETA: Ann - Yep...haven't brewed that first cup yet today, though. But the coffee machine is lovely...my new best friend :lol: !

Good luck with the dosing. I am 100% positive that Tarragon never gets the same amount of insulin twice in a row unless he is on a whole dose amount. Of course he doesn't stay on those for long. :lol:

The new glasses do make the syringe look big-n-clear :-D ...however, it's going to take a while for my eyes and brain to get together on this new thing. I only had them on for a few minutes, and I have a pounding headache :roll: ! The same thing happened last year, when I got new glasses then. I'll soldier on through...

In the meantime, a light blue surf for T-Cat thus far tonight. Works for me...I'm wiped and would love to hit the hay early!
 
I'm happy for you that the glasses make a difference, but too bad about the headache. That usually happens with me too with new glasses. And yes, it does sound as if you have all the tools to tackle FD :lol: But don't forget the beautiful Patience Pants ;-) Trixie's numbers have really been nice. Not bad work from a blind bean :lol: :lol: :lol:
