Good morning LL!!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) definitely not enough of those this morning....

A little blurry eyed this morning... @-) I don't think that the celebrations in my neighborhood stopped until well after midnight - amazing that all those neighbors can shoot off so many fireworks. All the kitties here were in bed with me last night on high alert. :shock: one bang and all heads popped up, prancing commenced, sleep did not... :lol: Despite all that Mannie is off to a nice start this morning - we have yellow - a 221. . :-D Oh how nice it would be for him to surf this - maybe even dip a little to the blues. Slow and steady today Mannie, and then you can hunt for those greens.

WCR: Relieved! The bangs have stopped and normalcy has returned... Breffis #1, and #2 consumed with enthusiasm, interior perimeter has been secured, the nose is pressed to the glass waiting for the door to open and the outdoors to be investigated. Though I suspect the reason he wants out so badly is due to the sounds of meows from the stray who is somewhere "out there". It was all Mannie could do to get through breffis #1. meow meow meow... so distracting!

Hi Mannie and Michelle. Mannie you are doing good. I didn't hear any firecrackers, only a few in the evening from distant neighbors. I'm at the end of a cul de sac which sounds nice, but it's too quiet for me. I used to live where I could see and hear the freeway and also hear a train. I miss those sounds. Mags and I wish you both a wonderful day.

HI Ann! - hear ya on the sounds - i like quiet, but an occasionally disturbed quiet. here the trains alot ere - I live near the sound shoreline, where there is a major train line - hear them all the time. kinda nice.

Hi Ella - agreed! 90 too much 50 it supposed to be summer... they say we will hit 85 for the rest of the week. hmmmm - a novelty.

And blues are even better! a high blue, but blue is blue! Mannie is so stoked that there is another party and he can perfect his grillin' skills. He does so hope that Blackie will be there.

Late visiting again. Apparently Tess decided to switch it up from dropping at PMPS and try AMPS for awhile. An then, there was a lot of distraction with the Tour again today.

Hey Mannie, Yeah the bag is still mine. It has the perfect cat sized depression in the middle of it. SHRIMP? I loooove shrimp! I've got some great freeze dried shrimp I can bring. Ooo, Ooo, Ooo, how about Grilled Shrimp encrusted w/ Freeze Dried Shrimp? I have to ask Chef Stu about that! -- Tess

Hope Mannie give you some nicer numbers later - shrimp ought to bring it down - unless he eats too much of that good thing!
I do hope your side of the US warms up some - we are going to Vancouver BC this weekend for a wedding - wouldn't mind not packing fleece.....

Hi Joyce - you may get lucky! We are suppose to hit a wave of warm weather - through next weekend: mid 80's! I do so hope they are right! I have been living in fleece up to now, still am tonight - in july. go figure! :lol:

Boy, I do love the gravy! You need to get lower too so you can have some, remember? I'm sorry you were worried about the fireworks last night. My bean told me that they were happy sounds, the sounds of people having fun. But then she muttered something about "it's only fun until someone loses an eye", which sounds about right to me. Mannie, my pal, you've outdone yourself with the shrimp (with a little help from Tess). It is delicious! And look at your +4: looks like blue to me. Blue wave blues--YES! I'm so proud of the kitchen crew tonight. Now, let's surf BLUE!!!
