My gracious was it ever NOISY in my neighborhood last night.... well into the witching hour. Don't these people have to get up in the morning? guess not... or they don't care. :lol: :lol: Mannie didn't care either. He slept through most of the bangs and booms and flashes of glorious color... sound asleep on his nanners. :roll: :razz: :razz: All is well in MannieLand this morning. BJ woke me up this morning: bellows in the ear, paws, with claws, on my face and shoulder :shock: :shock: ... the rest of the kitty choir was strangely absent. They, it seemed, decided to leave the wake up call to BJ, and were patently waiting by their food bowls. Way to go guys! We had a good test feed :razz: shoot , clean plate club status remains intact. Although.... he did give me that "what?!?!?! Wellness Chicken, AGAIN?!?!?" look.... down the hatch big guy! ;-) , and so he did. and: TA DA!: no civvie whacking... weird, and what is up with that? :shock: :lol: :lol: Nanner napping currently in progress.....

I took this photo last night, as Mannie was settling in for a nanner nap, on top of the stash....

Have a great day everyone! It is sunny here today, with a predicted 85. I will believe that when I feel it... :lol: Later on today I am headed into DT Seattle to see friends for a cup of joe. YAY!, and fun!

I love the pic of Mannie on his nanners - it looks like he's saying to anyone near "Don't even think of disturbing me and my nanners!" So darned cute! I love your WCR on Mannie and the civvies. I hope Mannie comes back down to blues and greens. Maggie has that same look with the Wellness Chicken. Do I dare bring out FF, not sure! Maggie wasn't bothered by fireworks either, but I'm at the end of a cul de sac and kind of away from town here. Have a nice day; any hikes for a nice day?

Nice cycle for Mannie last night amidst the booms!!!! Great pic of him on the nanner mattress. Steady as she goes Mannie....Gracie is the green lagoon today so come on down!!

I did miss the fireworks this year and it's not quite the same on TV. I hope you get to enjoy your sunny day!!

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - oh so true on the nanners: he is very protective! -- and yes - we made blue! I hope he can find the greens soon. He's done well on this dose, but if the greens remain elusive then we will have to do something about that... -- :lol: :lol: on that look or the wellness chicken... -- no hikes today. I was thinking about a short local one before I head into town, but this house so needs to be cleaned... i really need to do that, so... we will save the hike days for one with DGS on TH, and then one for me either FR or Saturday. YAY!

Hi Michelle, I hate "do it yourself" fireworks. I'm always afraid a rocket is going to land on the roof or something. We had them on our block last night, too, but fortunately they ran out of firepower by 11 P.M. Enjoy your 85 degree (!!) weather and your coffee with your friends in Seattle.

Nice to hear Mannie wasn't upset by the fireworks. Champ spent the entire night under my bed because they just terrify him!! And, of course, they were the one's like the professionals fire off, obnoxiously loud and dangerous!! Sounds like you had the same thing happening in your neighborhood.

Tell Mannie to get some civvie-whacking in....it seems to help him reach the green lagoon!!!

Hi Patty - could be: this is slow and it is down, maybe he'll just carry it on through for tonight. YAY! paws crossed! Yep, Mannie did well, and yes we too had the "industrial strength" stuff going off her last night - big and very loud. I'm sorry Champ was bothered by them. We have one civvie that gets a little anxious, but she ended up sitting by me, and did OK then. and I will tell Mannie that several are of the opinion that good civvie whacking brings on the greens... :razz:

Fireworks are lovely-NY had a spectacular show on TV!! Hope all kitties werent affected by it!

Looks like Mannie is doing just fine--King of the Nanners!! Moonie sometimes lies on top of all the catnip toys, she is so funny!!--Dh & family are gone for a few hrs--Me & Moonie are groovin on the quiet :lol: :lol:

Hi Roni - i know - it was that way here last night too. I kept thinking that it had to have cost these people a fortune... :shock: I did see some of the NY show on TV last night - they always show the NY one here. Kitties did great - Elsa was a little nervous, but did OK. Mannie didn't care at all - he slept on the nanners and all was well. -- nice on having the house to yourself for a while - SWEET!

Moonie - YES!!!! KTSS to the rescue -we can pull it off! I've got soup stock, and chickens and stuff, and big pots - already working on it. Rusty!! we are coming - you will feel better, I just know it! SOS has been sent out to all the others... I am ready to roll! ~~ Mannie
