Good Morning LL!

Of course Guinness's numbers are back up in the clouds due to my screwy dosing at the moment, but considering I am going out of town soon, I would rather they be a little higher than green right now. I'm hoping to get him settled into a dose before I leave, but I don't have much time left, so we will see.

I have an appointment with a veterinarian oncologist specialist here in SD to discuss treatment option for Guinness at the end of next week. I know already that the treatment is exorbitantly high in cost, so that and a few other personal factors may prohibit me from actually getting him treated. We will see. I'm hoping the oncologist is looking for a case study and needs to write a paper so that he will treat Guinness for free ;-)

Gave Guinness some fluids this am, more to bring his numbers down than because he really needed them. I'm considering breaking out the R again, but not sure I'm ready to yet.

Have a great day all!

I was surprised to see Guinness test positive for acro. I remember when he went OTJ.
It's encouraging to see they can do that. I agree that it's safer to be a little higher
than to go low while you're away.

isn't an oncologist for cancer? i guess i'm confused - is this about the acro tumor? i'll be really curious to hear what you learn. my cousin was suggesting to me today that i ask at the university vet hospital to see if they would be interested in punkin's acro. i don't know how i feel about him being learned on, though.

i'll be thinking of you tomorrow and thursday, linda. i hope the time with your family is good for all of you.
