Morning LL ~O) ~O) ~O) well the Bean did sleep a little better not sure why since I have a my son in China to worry over now he has been bitten by something confused_cat confused_cat he it all started with a email yesterday morning I can tell he is getting worried since I went from weekly emails to like 4 a day.. anyway he wanted me to make him a appt upon his return well thats not until 7-28 he had these knots by his ears and last night I found out he also has diarrhea and they are now open sores and I am sure he is maybe leaving out a few other details he is going to take his temp upon return to Beijing which is today he and his teacher friend had been camping out good part of this week together some but his friend had to return to work so my son has been camping alone it did not help last not when I of course when to the CDC to research what is common to get in china there is a lot of mosquito illness there.... so he is going to try to see his friends dr today and we are just over here on wait mode this has not helped my stress level which is way to high with all thats going on here right now anyway but anyhoo.... on to my boy Do Lou is good all P's in place this morning :-D :-D I am off to get a bit more coffee then shower and head on over to DS's for breffis there.

Hi Lisa, oh my, I am so sorry to hear about your son, and I can understand the worry with him being so far away. Good thing he is going to his friend's doctor. I hope he E-mails you soon and you can get relief knowing he's getting some medical care. Keep us posted. I'm glad DoLou is doing okay. Sending some healing vines for your DS and calming vines for you. Hugs.

I think it does not help to know they were camping out and could have been bitten by lord knows what :roll: :sad: confused_cat confused_cat so yeah nothing I can do but sit and worry and wait things I am good at lots of practice my DH would tell you that I am big on worrying

:shock: on your son - I do hope he goes and gets that checked out today. I know on the worry, and he is so far away....

Oh Lisa - That is terrible about your son. Hopefully it is nothing and he gets a chance to see a dr soon.

You must be so worried about your son, especially being so far away in China. I really hope it is just a little reaction to a bug bite, but nothing serious. If you need help researching anything about bugs or virusus that can be found in China, let me know. My sister-in-law is from China and all her family is there. I can maybe find out where to go or what to do, although it sounds like your son's friend is from China and has connections to medical help. I hope the doctor is able to help him and you can start to relax. Please update when you know something. In the meantime, I will be sending your son lots of healing vines and prayers.

Thank you Georgia yes the friend he is staying with while in Beijing is he is married to someone who grew up there so presuming she is familiar with well you know bugs and such hopefully when he sees a dr tomorrow will know something,I was thinking it was today but I forget about our time diff anyway he is not running fever I had email from him just a bit ago so I will be glad when he at least see the dr my sons friends family sees regular and have some idea of whats going on confused_cat confused_cat

Lisa, We are thinking positive thoughts that your son will soon feel better. It does sound like it could be an allergic reaction to an insect bite or some other bite. It may be possible for him to go to the American Embassy in Beijing and ask for a referral to a Western doctor if things don't improve soon.

Do Lou, take good care of your mamabean while she is trying to take good care of her son long distance.

Ohhh Lisa - hoping soon there will be better news about your son! It's always so scary when you are so far away. Like so many others - I'll be eagerly awaiting an update.

Glad tho to hear that Do Lou is doing good! Please be sure to take care of yourself!!!
