Good morning ALL! Back to work - yuck. Wish I was independently wealthy so I could stay home and make sure Bob is ok on his insulin increase. Makes me nervous. Yesterday he seemed extraordinarily tired and slept on my reusable Whole Foods shopping back ALL DAY. He did get up to eat that one TBS of FF turkey and giblets with Tuna water and then he got up to snub his nose at it when I tried to give it to him at dinner time. ohmygod_smile Crazy cat! His pee is back to completely normal so now I'm worried he's not drinking enough. Always something to be stressed about.

Ever since he was diagnosed with diabetes, I have noticed that he does this thing where he blows air out of his nose. Sounds like a sneeze, but it's not. When I mentioned it to the specialist, she just waved it off and said probably allergies (and we all know I don't trust what she says as far as I can throw her). Does anyone have a kitty who does the same thing? Just seems weird that it hasn't gone away. He probably does it a couple of times a day. No runny nose or eyes though.

Have a great day!! TGIF!!!!

No ideas on the "blowing air out of his nose" thing that Bob does.

Have a good day at work. I'm going back this weekend, Sat and Sun.

Hey Deb - I didn't see this until this morning, but I got a +3, +5 and +7. Looks pretty good....nice to see yellow, but that may just be the relion compared to the evil alphatrak!
I was just looking last night for a test more around nadir time. You got 2 tests! both +5 and +7.

It's all good.

Hi Deb - yeah, the 2:00 am I wasn't planning, but I woke up and just wanted to check things out. Couldn't undrstand why he was so sleepy yesterday. I guess they are like us - just have those days. I've been known to lie around like a big slob on the couch all day. Guess it's no different.

Sorry you have to work the weekend. I actually do too - I have a couple part-time jobs - nothing major though. have a good day! :-D

Hi there, I have 2 cats that do that and they have allergies Both Lucky and his sister Foxy I give them L-Lysine 500mg they even blow fluid out. Lucky sores real loud but Lucky has had all this before becoming DB. Good luck

THANKS! Maybe I'll give that a try. I know how he feels. I'm allergic to dust, mold and CATS!!! But I just live with it because I love my boo's!

L-lysine is an immune system booster. It's not specifically for allergies. Allerplex is a product that Marje and Ella are using for allergies and seem very happy with it.

ok - I probably would rather try to the specific allergy medicine first. I hope that's all it is!
Thanks Sienne!
