Oscar is out of remission after being good for almost two years. He’s not eating much so I’m trying to syringe feed. We just did our first dose of .5 and I’ll check again in two hours.
 
Hi Andrea, sorry to see that Oscar has fallen out of remission. Did you test his urine for ketones? Did you have his teeth checked? That's one of the most common reasons for a cat to fall out of remission. Could also explain why he isn't eating much.

Hi Bhooma. They tested at the vet and it was negative. I’ll get some strips to test at home. They did a cursory glance at his teeth, but I’m wondering if they looked closely enough. I’m going to call this morning and see if we can go back. He’s had two days worth of mirataz and anti nausea now and still won’t eat much.

Did they test for pancreatitis? Was full bloodwork done? If yes, do you have the labs?
