Good Morning LL

Checkers is acting weird this morning. He's just laying around, in fact, for a long time, just enjoying the 'nanner pile.
Then he kept insisting there was something good up on the counter, and kept staring up, and looking at me, like I was keeping something from him. Only half glass milk. His nose was in the air, wiggling a mile a minute.
The minute I left the room, he was up there, to prove I was lying. Sorry Checks, still nothing good up there.
Now he's back on the 'nanners.
Hmmm, is that full moon still out there?

He's such a handsome boy, Checkers! ESP when he stands on his rear leg & stretches his body. Looks so strong!

Hi guys .. Checkers is looking good in those pictures!! Don't you know these kitties always have to prove us wrong? Even if it means getting up on counters where they aren't allowed?? Have a great day guys!

I kept reading about these 'nanners and had no clue what the big deal was, and never saw them.... until this past weekend when we saw a 'Yowee' nanner in the feed store.. so I grabbed one (expensive for a cat toy I thought!)....
the whole gang went MENTAL over that nanner. it's all soggy and chewed and currently in the living room. Rupie really liked it but now Oliver seems to have claimed it for himself. I'll have to get Rupie another one! I wonder why, of all the catnip stuffed toys, that one seems to really work? must be kitty crack inside!

thank you for introducing me to world of 'Nanners'! tee hee. Glad to see Checkers looking so good, maybe he thought you had a new nanner on the counter?!!

I just realized that Checkers is lying in a cross breeze. :smile: He's been there all day, except to sit on the hamper , while I showered, then back to that spot. It's quite comfortable in that room with the breeze.
It's supposed to thunderstorm this afternoon, and the sky looks like rain, even tho the sun is shining. It's muggy.
Checks doesn't act like he hurts, but now I'm wondering.

Pip, it isn't just the catnip.....they also have balls filled with the same stuff, and they don't care about them.
There's something about those bananas. :lol: He goes INSANE over new ones!
I heard that microwaving them refreshes them, when they're old, but Checkers didn't notice a difference.

Great numbers today Checkers! A nice way to celebrate the holiday. I loved the photos of Checks. Neko also can smell milk from quite a distance. The little nose twitches are cute.

Checkers was subdued today. Seemed out of sorts. Nothing in particular. The house was cool, so I don't think it was heat.
Ate a little at +10. Ate very little before shot.

Had very soft, very smelly poo shortly after pm shot.
I don't think he feels well. He just came and asked to be tested. I would have waited for +3.
Gave HC, to head off a drop, but mostly because I knew he would eat.

Sometimes my cats have soft & smelly poo too. My vet said canbe caused by hairball. Especially when the start of summer, they shed a lot & ate their own hair. I used to give them hairball remedy but since most of it got caramel inside, I cannot give to Rosy. Are you giving Checkers anything for hairball Barb?

Feel better checks! Sometimes they just have an off day - I hope that is all it is. Right Checkers? So nice that he comes and gets you. Good job Checkers

Sigh....could we do this tomorrow, Checkers, mama is soooooo sleepy.

I gave HC gravy food, at the 77, to keep him from going low. I really thought gravy would last longer than that.

Gave more gravy at the 62.....ahem, served in my bed, because he didn't want to be disturbed. :roll:

He really doesn't feel like eating, so I hope he doesn't continue dropping.


Helen, he doesn't groom much. I brush him a lot to remove hair.

Food is important for parties Checks! As host you must eat first! Err... :lol: Rosy is eating while waiting for your invitation!
 
Hi Barb...I hope Himself starts feeling better and no liquipoo tomorrow.

Great numbers...looks like he might be keeping you up for a pj party tonight! I bet all the rest of us will be in bed :lol:

Checkers sure is hanging on those lower floors a lot now! maybe he feels a bit odd due to the lack of massive sugar in his system! just gonna take him a bit of time to learn how it feels to be 'normal' again! amazing change in his numbers though! wasn't that long ago he was hanging with Rupie on those nasty upper floors! I sure hope Rupert can copy Checks and start staying lower! the switch to Lev sure worked for you!

hope you manage to get some sleep Barb! looks like he's gonna surf for a while now.
 
That's good he's on the way up @+5. Zener is on the way down early in the cycle so I'll be up for awhile, in case you want to join a PJ party in progress! Now that you have the OTJ icon off, you can put up a MR :mrgreen:

Hope Checkers is feeling better tomorrow and no more pudding poo!
