Well we are running around like crazy today. DH got the job offer! Two and a half years (yes, years) of searching, and now off to Ohio. So much to figure out and plan now, and just two weeks to do it in.

Star can already sense the crazy-level in our house. She hates when we break out the suitcases and boxes. This will be move number eight for our eight years of marriage. Star's 7th move. Yes, six of those years were college years, so a handful of those were local moves. This will "only" be our 5th state. Star's 6th state, since we picked her up from a friend in neighboring Idaho originally. Star is a well traveled kitty.

we relocated 9 times in 11 years...my furbabies told horror stories about "The Big Orange Truck" :lol:

binks wants to give a shout out to a fellow Idahoan...
he was born in Nampa...where was Star born?

Willie has moved alot too... Born (I assume... he came to me as a stray) in Tennessee, moved to Kansas, Florida, Missouri and now back to Kansas (though only a few miles across the state line). Plus he "vacations" in Iowa a few times a year.

Best of luck getting everything situated over the next couple weeks. I don't envy you!!

wahoo and congrats on the job offer for your husband! those are hard to come by - so glad he's joining the ranks of the employed!

star is sure looking great - i trust you know to keep an eye on her with those numbers. a +4 of 69 would keep my attention to see where it went before it starts rising again!

Hey Celi & Binks, Star was born in Preston, Idaho. My friend rescued her and her siblings from under her neighbor's porch, and we traded one of my husband's paintings in exchange for all the vet bills and time getting her ready for a home.

Thanks for asking Julie. We haven't been online much today, but we had collected a +6 too. Just in case.

Christie and Celi, glad to meet other well-traveled kitties. :)
