Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. His paw/leg isn't back to normal yet, but it seems much better than yesterday. He still won't let me examine it. In any event, he has no trouble jumping up on the couch or on his perch, so we will watch him closely today. His appetite is good. His litterbox contributions are normal. He had a good test this morning, but his shot was an "ouchie" (it all got in, however, even though he pulled away and bent the needle). He enjoyed his lung treat and is chillaxin' on the couch (where he has stayed after our schmooze). Edward is at yoga. The carpenters are replacing the front door today. I hope it fits!

Wishing you all a good day. It's a beautiful day here. I wish we were paddling, but we want to be here while the work is going on. I may get my hair cut this afternoon.

Healing vines to all who need some,

Ella & Rusty

Good Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

A nice blue start for Rusty! I bet the lagoon meister is back on duty shortly. Ouch on the shot and the bent needle. Mannie did that to me too on a few occasions. It always seemed to bother me more than it did him. ;-) it's good to read too that his foot seems to be better. Continued be better foot vines for Rusty. :-D

Good luck with the front door. I bet it is nice, looks good too. I can so understand the wanting to be there while the work is going on. It would be the same for me. It is kinda interesting too to watch how they do what they do.

Woo hoo! A hair cut. Enjoy that, if you decide to go.

Have a great day Ella. Elsa says she is on her way, and will bring extra since you are home today.

Good Morning Ella of the new door!
That's a handsome amps today. Heading for the Lagoon today Rusty? I'm so sorry Rusty has an ouchie foot. I'm glad it's getting better but i wish he'd let you look at it. It's nice that your carpenter's are doing such a nice job. It sure makes life easier when work goes smoothly.
Sneak in some fun and catch you back here later.
hugs and scrtiches from us

So glad to read about improvement in Rusty's paddy paw! And what lovely numbers too. I reckon Rusty can carry out his lagoon meister duties while you get your hairs cut.

HI again,
Rusty is walking normally this afternoon/evening, so I guess his paw/leg is a lot better. We will continue to monitor it. He had a dull day, cooped up in the house and not even allowed to go out on the front porch because the carpenters were working on getting the door frame ready for the new door. As luck would have it, the door isn't ready yet. The carpenter was planning to pick it up last Friday. But it should be here first thing tomorrow. In the meantime, we have a big piece of plastic sheeting over the opening (it's a double-width door, so this is a big space). Lots of mosquitoes got in!!! The greenhouse has been demolished. It was so rotten the only thing keeping it up was the old paint!!

As expected, Rusty has a bit of a bounce going, but it was a nice cycle, ending right about where it began. I would prefer to see smaller gaps between the numbers, however.

Wishing everyone a fine evening,

Ella & Rusty

p.s. I got my hair cut and while in the chair a lens fell out of my glasses (which were in my lap). I found the tiny screw, but it had broken in half. Of course I had forgotten to take my sunglasses and was facing the prospect of trying to drive 10 miles one-eyed. But I found a band-aid in the glove compartment and was able to tape the lens in. First stop was the optometrist!

Hi Ella,

Nice cycle for Rusty. I'm glad that his paw/leg is feeling better

isn't remodeling stuff "fun"? When I remodeled the kitchen nothing went right, everything that we touched was a problem, it took way longer than I had expected and much more money...worth it now, but I was ready to call it quits several times.

Hope you have a good night,

Kathie

Hi Ella!
I am so glad to hear that Rusty's paw is better!!!
I thought it was funny  you secured your lens with a band-aid.
I'm glad you were able to drive safely.

Rusty had a good evening with combings, good food, and a terrific play with Edward at bedtime with his mice and bell balls. He plays with such abandon. I was afraid he would re-injure his foot, but it seems fine.

ni ni and thanks for visiting. Sorry I didn't get to many condos today. Too many distractions.
