Yesterday:
Yesterday was a beautiful Sunday for Rosy. Started off in blue & moved to green for the day while ended with a yellow recorded at PM+6
Tongtong came back from the vet with one tooth extracted. Perfect blood work reported which is pretty good for a 12 yrs old. Amoxy ab prescribbed for a week.
I am rumming an elderly home for cats here since most of them are over 10 with the youngest 5, 6 yrs old ;-)
Today:
A hot & sunny Monday. Kids (not mine!) are having their summer holiday but parents are still busy with sending them to summer tuition classes. In recent years, parents are competing on their child's performances. Kids are sent to all different kinds of after school classes. I was so surprised when my friend showed me her 9 yrs old son's portfolio. He is for sure "qualified"  Guess it's all the same everywhere.
TongTong has recovered in no time. Eating & finishing his breakfast without showing any sign of pain after the tooth extract. I had a hard time giving him the AB though. He is not an easy one for pill feeding! The vet said I can take him to the clinic for the AB jab everyday but I want to try first.

AMPS 218 gave canned breakfast & 0.9u (w food at +2)

I think Rosy is bouncing from the green yesterday.

You are so funny!! A home for elderly cats!!   I say that is a happy home where the mom bean is sweet & kind to care for her dear kitties of a certain age ;-) Hey we all get older, them too..
Your culture respects that I know..Hope someone takes care of me like you take care of your furbabies.
Rosy is doing good..Come on down today Rosy..Have a wonderful day..Hugs & love from us!

Good morning, Helen -

Not a bad start, especially if that almost blue number is a bounce!

Have a great day -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Re: 7/30 Rosy AMPS 218

Hi Helen and kitties,

Good for TongTong eating right away after his extraction! I hope you'll be able to give the a/bs yourself. I'm sure that you will!
Rosy, let's see some nice numbers today, OK?

Interesting about the parents seeing to it that their kids are "qualified.' That's why Chinese kids are so good in their studies.

You ask what we eat for breakfast. We eat cold cereal with fruit on it (cranberries, blueberries, banana, raisins, etc.). I make my own granola from oats, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, and wheat bran, and a little maple syrup and canola oil to bind it all together (I bake it in the oven and let it cool and store it. A batch lasts us about a week. We drink orange juice and coffee with breakfast.

I'm getting hungry. Time to go to bed!

Have a great day. And thanks for visiting Rusty while we were at Canoe Outing.

Same here Roni! I hope someone will take care of us when we grow old (sounds as if I'm not old  ) But the fact is I dont want to be a burden to the young. We have to keep ourselves healthy & fit. Our culture respects the old but the world has changed. People take good care of their young but not their older generation  Hongkong is a nice place for the elderly because it's a small city & everything is easily accessible. We have both the chinese med & the western med here.

Thanks Libby!
Bounce within the blue & yellow gives us the caretaker a chance to walk a bit away from home

Oh Julia, I am blushing here! I hope I can help more of those abandoned kitties. Some of my friends are giving home to those old , sick & some dying kitties found abandoned on the street. I really appreciate all their love & kindness for these unfortunate ones.

Re: 7/30 Rosy AMPS 218/ 6 200 PMPS 196

Hi Helen, the senior kitties are so lucky to have you as their Bean and giving them a good home. So glad TongTong came thru okay with the dental and sending good vines for the AN's, too. It looks like Rosy is down to a blue for the pm cycle. I wonder what are her plans tonight. Take care.
