Morning!! Moonie seemed better & ate last night, also ate this morning!! Numbers are so far nice!
Getting used to the monojects & think I have got it! She is herself again :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

*NOW FOR A Laugh!! Tried to do the Adequan shot in that gigantic needle--Vet said I could give bupe with it..if needed- I will save bupe till another time.
OMG I measured it out so careful (bubble got in the way so I may have wasted a bit ohmygod_smile ),
Finally got the dose in the needle, went to shoot Moonie, Her skin is so tough, I couldnt get the needle through-tried a few times, when I thought I had it I shot!
Wetness on her back ohmygod_smile Then pushed on the syringe to make sure it all went in :o :o :o
Some shot into the Air angry(2)_cat angry(2)_cat angry(2)_cat :dizcat I am soooo disappointed in myself, who has been giving shots to her for 4 1/2 yrs!!!!!!
I have NO IDEA if any went in, or if I did a complete fur shot DUH!!!!
Now I will wait till Thursday when she is due for the next one..and will push Harder!!!!!!!

Also do I discontinue dasuquin??
Vet office rushed me off so fast!!--Anyway she seems normal or more normal than she has--

Well drat on that shot! Are the needles huge? I gave Zener some Cerenia shots and the needles were like an inch long. :shock: It wasn't like an insulin shot at all. I'm glad Moonie is feeling better and eating her fuds. Amy might know about the dasuquin.

Hi Roni, so glad to get a good report on Moonie. I know she had you worried yesterday. I hope most of the Adequan or a good percentage got in, even if you felt some wetness. I have no idea on those shots, but I'm wondering the same thing as Liz about the needles. Give Moonie some extra loving from us today .

Sorry about the shot, Roni. We try so hard, but sometimes it just doesn't work out the way we planned. I hope she got enough to tide her over until she can have another shot. Wish they had a little meter to show us how much they actually get. Sure would've been helpful to me when I was giving all of those fur shots! :sad:

Sounds like she is doing well, otherwise, and she's looking pretty in BLUE!!!

Sorry about the shot! Those big needles are tough to get in. We have to use some pretty significant pressure to get the needle into Mario, too...it's so different from shooting from an insulin syringe! I'm sure you'll be fine on Thursday.

Very nice numbers for Moonie today. I'm glad to hear she's feeling better!!

Nice low blue surf for Moonie today, I hope she continues to improve.

it sounds like the adequan takes some time to really take effect. Bupe is safe and will help her pain in the meantime. We give it to Tess when she gets a UTI.

Hugs and paws crossed that this works for her.

What a very nice day for Moonie - I love low level blue cycles. Well done Moonie! I am glad that she is feeling better.

OMG on the shot... So So Sorry - I am sure it will be better on Thursday. Those needles are tough to get in.

Those are much bigger needles than we are used to.....do you have a 28g? I'm wondering what size they gave you. I gave adequan shots to Gus for a while.

I don't think you need the dasequin and the adequan both.

I'm glad Miss Moonie is feeling better today. It hurts us so, to see our furkids hurting. By the way, it hurts to see you hurting too. *hug*
Bugger on the shot. I hope she got enough to help until Thursday. I didn't know the needles were different.

She was good today, but didnt feel as well at night--I see her "good leg" isnt so good & that's what I think is bothering her..Will try the Adequan, but if she is this umcomfy I may try the bupe, as I cant stand to see her not comfortable..Paws & fingers crossed that adequan will help..
I am glad to see blue numbers today. She hasnt eaten much yet tonite..except the chicken from dinner..
Waiting to exhale as usual with Moonie ;-)
 
She finally ate a little while I was snoozing to the Olympics.. :lol: :lol:
She just came out to see wher I am & why I'm not coming to bed confused_cat
Hoping for a better day tomorrow--Praying a drop of adequan got in..Have colorful dreams, sound sleepus,
and well being..May all Kitties & beans feel better and may all have good numbers & good health..
