Pink - again for amps - no surprise! :shock: Mannie did manage to make the high blues last night. I hope he surfed there a little before heading back on up. Interesting that today's amps is the same as 7/27, a day where he hit greens for most of the day. Perhaps we can repeat that this cycle. Mannie!: the challenge is on!

What a cuddly kitty this morning. He has been for the past few days. Must be that foggy damp marine layer that has been here most mornings this week. These are noticeably cool in the morning - hovers around 55 all morning. Makes for cuddly kitties :-D Once again he helped me get ready in the morning. Breffis #1 and #2 eaten - with gusto, and much preening afterwards. Napping is in order until time for outdoor perimeter security: he'll need his fog lamps.... He was fun last night - more dancing at test time - back and forth with lots of meows - he must have wanted me to see that blue....

Today looks like errands day.... I had hoped to go to eastern washington for a swim meet - end of season stuff - but wow - 9 hours on the road for maybe an hour there, and whoa: thunderstorms and flash floods predicted. I wonder if they will even be able to complete the day of racing.... guess home is a better option. :? :? have a GREAT Fursday everyone!

We got the beach here 5 blocks away, yet I hardly ever get a chance to go...Maybe this weekend to get away!--Have a good Friday!

Hi Roni! exasperating is a good word! yes, indeed. Tough trying to squeeze in stuff away from home. For me it's usually hikes, which take most of the day, and wow - worry the whole time: did I pick a "safe" day. I hope you can get some time away this weekend.

Oh gosh, I'm tired of thunderstorms and the torrential rain that comes with it. I dodged a bullet last Sat. Much damage in my small town from straight line winds. At least it wasn't a tornado, that uplifts cars and homes. I didn't have any damage. Whew! The rain washed away my lettuce and carrot seedlings...Waaahhh!

I hope you get to do something fun today.
Just looked at your subject line...Mannie's coming down...woohoo!

:shock: :shock: 150 @ +3... another 65 points. OK Mannie - slow her down some OK? I fed this with a tsp of 8% MC, will test again at +4. wow - going to be one of those days... definitely good that I am not sitting by a racing pool 4.5 hours away.... :shock:

Hi Barb - Hi Iorwen! Lots of action today - never a dull moment with this one. Blue we have and at the rate he's going, even with food, it will be a green day.

Wow Barb on the thunderstorms. I read that Ella has alot of them too. That's just a little scary. I really do love weather, but that may be a bit too much. Bummer on the seedlings. Hope you can start over?

omg - 79 @ +4 wow - and down another 70 points. I brought out the 10% stuff, gave him a tsp. I am more than sure now that I am glad I am not 4.5 hours away. aiyee!!!! I have a short errand I have to do - then back to test. 10 % should be enough to hold the line.. ??

Hi Heidi! Yep, today will be a juggling act for sure... Normally I would just take off and do what needs to be, head on home when done: 3 hours? no big deal. today is more like test, feed, errand, test, feed, errand repeat repeat repeat... @-) @-) hear ya too on the june gloom in july - still fogged in here - just weird. enjoy the spin - one nice things about rides, whether indoors or out - weather usually doesn't matter too much.

and off we go for the next round of test feed errand.

Sheesh, cats do not live lives of moderation do they? Tess is trying to match Mannie drop for drop, but she started 40 points lower. ohmygod_smile Good thing you cancelled your plans today, I knew better than to make any. :lol:

Michelle, I have had days like that (test feed errand). It stinks. I hope you don't live too far from where you need to run errands. However, hooray for green! And that's strange about his PS # being the same on that day when he was in greens. :shock:

Hey, friend, I saw you as you zipped past my floor (blue) on your way to green! You sure were movin'! It makes our beans nervous when we move that fast, so try to stay where you're at for awhile, ok? Otherwise she might not let you go out on the water again. You look great in green, though! :-D

Hi Ann - you are so right... I think you are the wiser one! And moderation - what is that? :lol: :lol: Never been in Mannie's vocabulary. He must own stock on the bungee and diving companies though. tramps too. :-D so so true on the plans - knew it when I had the +2 - off he went, or rather dived.

Hi Sarah - Most stores etc are close - I can get there and back 30 minutes, for the most part... and hope the trips to buy etc are quick. :lol: :lol: and oh sure. rush rush rush... yeah - it is weird on the same pmps number on the other day when he did this. it will be even more weird if the pattern repeats throughout the day. :?

Hi Michelle, I just happened to glance at the condos list on my way back to the steps and saw the famous Mannie drop!! Good job juggling all those things!! Good thing you were home!!! Mannie and Stu are something else, and I'm glad Stu is "resting" today!!! He'll join Mannie in a surf when Mannie is on his way back up to blue. Enjoy the afternoon!!!

Hi Ella! They are something else aren't they... omg this boy lives to dive - doesn't matter how and what i feed him - well I suppose it does some, but he still dives. It has been a crazy morning - but errands are done, laundry done, shopping done, yard will never be done and haven't even looked at it yet, and yes - good I stayed home. I really rely on those +2 numbers to tell me what to expect. :lol: :lol: and hear ya on getting hooked on the condos....

is Mannie trying to hit every color again today? Really that's a little unnecessary, if we want to see additional colors we can just at other days. It's ok to just hit blue and green, really.

Have you thought about using higher carb food to slow things down? I pretty much use the 16% stuff with Gabby. I may give more or less in combo with LC depending on where her numbers are.

Hi Sienne - Yes I have, just haven't done it, have stayed with the 10% stuff. I think that it would be worth a try - especially on days when it is apparent that the king of diving is going to do just that. The 10% stuff seems to work well when I need him to hold onto a range, and not drop further - which is what I did today when he hit green. Next time I will try the HC stuff at the start of the drop, and adjust the mix depending on what his numbers are. Thanks!.

I wonder if going to a smaller dose 3 or 4 times a day, so you don't have so much bouncy bouncy. Mannie is getting good lows, just bouncing too high afterwards. I don't know, we've only been using Lantus for a month. So, that might be a bad idea.
