7/30 LOOSE LIPS

Hi everyone!

I was trying to get twix to eat yesterday and she refused to come out to the kitchen. She has decided lately, that she needs to be fashionably late to each meal .. she comes sauntering in about five minutes after mocha starts eating .. Well yesterday she would not come, no matter what .. so I decided to take her food to her (spoiled much?) Anyways, she still wasn't interested .. but then I decided to put her best friend "S.Q. Earl" (get it? :lol: ) by her food bowl and within seconds she was over there chowing down .. what a silly cat!

I also wanted to post, for those of you that remember Natasha and Seamus, that her mom passed away yesterday .. I am sure any thoughts or prayers you'd like to send out to her and her family would be greatly appreciated .. It was unexpected and I know they are all hurting ..

Prayers and thoughts go out to those who need them, kitties or beanz ..

That's cute about Twix! Some cats like having something familiar with them while they're eating. Shadow, my outdoor kitty, will eat if you pet her. If you pet her for a second, and then don't, she'll stop eating, look up at you, rub up against you, and then when you go to pet her again, she'll continue to eat. :lol: Just a kitty quirk.

Food is always better in the company of good friends. :lol: Even stuffed ones. Twix is a very beautiful cat.

I'm very sorry to hear about Natasha and Seamus's mom. Thinking of them.

OMG Devon! I never knew Twix was a tortie!!!!! That explains a lot. :lol:
I thought I saw her pic before but it must not have been full body or something.
I love the fact that her little squirrel friend helped her get her appetitie going. I love your stories.

I too am sorry to hear of Natasha's mom. I always make it a point to say prayers for everyone on this board and all their associated cats and family.

haha Yes, cats sure do have their very own personalities! S.Q. Earl is twix's very best friend .. he rides around on her back quite often .. And when he catches a ride, twix sings .. "People let me tell you 'bout my best friend ... " Ok, she doesn't really, but me and peter honestly do :lol:

I know Nat will appreciate the thoughts and prayers being sent out to her and her family today ..

Hi Devon, Your little Twix is so adorable eating with her best friend by her side. Beautiful kitty. They do have us trained.
