Doing well today, glad to see him in the 200's rather than 300's!! He's getting used to the interval feeding...which is awesome!! it's going to be rough some days because I won't be able to be home all the time, but i'm waiting for the feeder to get here (my sister is buying it for me for my birthday) so hopefully in a week or so I can at least be sure he's covered in the morning for food and then I'll see what I can do for the afternoon.

Hoping we get to green in the next few hours!!! :)

wow, Lightning is getting green on almost every cycle now.

OK, not sure if Lightning is trying to give me a heart attack or something!! He dropped to 40 @ +3!! I was going to go see a movie with my boyfriend and when I tested him at +2 and got 88 I just had a feeling he was going to drop, so we decided to just rent a movie instead. Thank god I listened to my instincts!!! Just gave him 1/4 can LC and a tsp of the HC 19%. Hopefully that brings him back up!! Guess that means we get another dose decrease tomorrow morning right?

Will test again in another hour and then see where to go from there...any suggestions are welcomed on what I should do!!

I'm about to sign off here - but you are on the right track. I'd feed a small amt of HC food, retest in 15, make sure he is rising. You may have to repeat this until Lightening numbers are at a better level. For me, once the numbers get up to the 60's then I test every 30 minutes until I know he isn't dropping any more. Just remember to feed small amounts, as you may have to repeat this drill a few times , and we don't want him to get to full and not be able to eat when he needs to.

I believe he will qualify for a dose reduction - but wait to get the opinion of those in the know. At least this will get you bumped up in the cue.

Good luck - he will be fine.
