Hello everyone:)

We're back from our first trip and it was wonderful:) It was a long way to go, 14 hours of driving for a day of celebrating, but it was a beautiful wedding. While we've been gone, Ella has been quite content. She settled in nicely and is enjoying the company of my parents. My mom excercises her on the stairs and teases her with the wand. My dad has stepped up to the plate and is in charge of testing and feeding when my mom isn't home and takes his job VERY seriously. After returning from a long drive yesterday I was relaxing on the couch when he told me it was time to do Ella's test. I told him it was ok to wait a few minutes and he reminded me again after 5  It was pretty cute actually:) I taught him how to update the SS so that he didn't have to text me the numbers all of the time :-D

Ella has been a rainbow cat since we've been gone, but that's not anything new. I was about to fatten her dose to a f .50 last night when she threw me a 211 at pmps so I decided to see where she'd go on the regular .50. She popped down to 150 before bouncing so I figured, for safety's sake, that I should probably keep her at this dose for a while. It would also be nice to see what would happen if I fattened but it usually takes 6-10 cycles to see what truly happens for her. I've left samples of all sort of doses, fat and skinny so they could adjust if needed. I'm around until Wednesday night so will be popping in to do curves. Hope everyone has been well while we've been gone :-D

Hi guys .. I'm glad you guys were able to get away and enjoy yourselves .. sounds like your parents really care about ella and want nothing but the best for her :-D Hoping she comes down from that +2, that's a little to high missy! Have a great day guys!

Hi Tamara, welcome home and so glad you had a nice time at the wedding. You must be tired with the drive. Your parents sound like they were the perfect caregivers for Ella with her dose and testing. Your Dad sounds so cute with reminding you to test Ella. I wish I had someone like them for Maggie if I decide to take a little holiday. Thanks for stopping in to see us earlier.

I'm glad you guys had a wonderful time! It certainly sounded like fun! :-D Hoping that Ella settles down for you very soon, and clears any bouncing that she may be doing. Have a good day!

Welcome back!! Glad you had a wonderful time and more importantly, you can relax more about Ella on your next trip now that everything went so smoothly (anti jinx).

Great job Mom and Dad!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D

Thanks for stopping by everyone:)

Ma and Pa are certainly doing a good job :-D Hopefully Ella will stay at some decent numbers while we are gone on the extenda-trip! I'm at home now visiting with the other three and prepping the house for the lady that will be staying her while we are gone. So much to do in such little time.

So nice to see another set of grandparents caring for their diabetic grandcat

Glad to hear you had fun at the wedding.

That WAS a long drive, but I'm sure it was worth it. So nice of your parents to take care of Ella and sweet that your Dad is being so particular!

I hope all goes well on your extenda-trip, too!!! Have fun and enjoy your time away!

Have a great night -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)
