Very happy with Mandarin's test this morning. :D Ever since the foster kittens arrived, we had to abandon our regular feeding schedule and adjust it to four growing kits with a voracious appetite. So rather than setting an alarm, I now have Iris or Ivy purring at my face, pawing at my face, nursing on my earlobes or, if all else fails, biting into my nose or ear. And that's the kind of behavior that I then reward with food.

Luckily, none of this seems to effect Mandarin's numbers (and, thankfully, the four kits are eating LC canned food just fine).

Walter doesn't mind more frequent meals either, but he can't seem to find his way back to the lagoon. Let's hope that he manages to slide back down a little further today.

LOL - well we all know that kittens run the entire show

Haha, very true! ...and they have so many tricks up their little sleeves, there's no ignoring them either. Amazingly enough, I now sleep just fine with two kittens cuddled up to my face, so they had to step up their game and find new ways to wake me up. Let's hope that Fern and Flora continue to sleep quietly at the foot of the bed... otherwise, I might suffocate in my sleep some day if I end up with four kits on my face.

Ah that's cute about the kittens purring in your face! You have to admit there are worse ways of waking up!
I had a big fluffy orange cat once, Peanut. If I were a wee bit late waking up, she would sit on the floor beside my side of the bed and put her front paws up on the bed and stretch up. I would wake up and her cute fluffy face would be two inches away from mine.

Good number for Mandarin; happy to hear having the kittens around hasn't affected Mandarin's numbers!
Walter....what can I say? Enough with the yellow numbers; let's see some blue today ok?

Walter is slowly strolling towards the lagoon... maybe he will make it into the water by the time the PM cycle rolls around.

It's been a nice, quiet day around her. I took the dogs on another hike this morning to make sure that they will be tired for the next round of fireworks tonight. Th kits all got some playtime too. Some intentional (=with a DaBird toy) and some rather unintentional (turns out that they think that chasing the vacuum cleaner is the best game ever. Iris definitely is the ringleader, but the others had to give it a shot too. And it doesn't make vacuuming any easier when you are not only trying to avoid dozens of toys, but when you also have to vacuum around bouncing kittens.)

Flora is finally feeling well enough to play again. Not quite back to normal yet, but definitely much better. Now everyone ate a snack and will probably snooze until Walt's t/f/s routine tonight.
