Good Morning LL!!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (LOTS! It's DGS day! fuel is so required!), and Happy Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espresso, beans from high in the Andes Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Cimmamum infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cimmamum whip garnished with cimmamum sprinkles and white chocolate curls.... OH! No worries, a dollop of chocolate curls, and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! SWEET! AND!!! It is a go! We will have, for sure, TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts! Lola and Bug are helping!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Mine was busy: a Seattle trip, whihc was fun. I met up with a friend, had some good ~O) and caught up on the news. It was a fun time. The rest of the day was spent cleaning, vacuuming, things I so dearly love. not. But.... we are spiffy clean now, SWEET! Lola and Bug DO NOT like the vacuum - that evil monster that it is. Elsa never has, and will hide. So does Bug. Lola is not a fan, but will watch from a distance. Maybe she's plotting a way to sabotage the thing.... I wouldn't put it past her :lol: :lol: Here's a photo I took yestedya of Lola and Bug, as I was leaving to head on out on a short walk. You can just see the look of "just wait til she's gone... we will have such fun.... " she will walk that rail, back and forth, will jump over it too: from the landing over the top onto the sofa. As Amy put it yesterday on the FB post: "there is fire in that belly...." yupp, there sure is! :lol: :lol:

All this talk yesterday on bears got me to thinking this morning.... I know... scary.... :lol: :lol: and it reminded me of a post by Hillary the other day on FB. As many of you know, Nicholas has a side kick: Bear. Well Bear went missing the other day, after swimming and while on a berry hunt.... such drama! We eventually did find him. I so loved all the comments by so many on where Bear could have gone, what he was up too, and did any of us really know. Maybe you remember there is an issue with Nicholas's pool, and well some thought maybe Bear had gone to find another pool.... I thought I'd share the post by Hillary, as it made me laugh a thousand times over. Bear has enlivened so many people's lives.... So, a little humor for today:
Do you know where Bear is? I got a text from a Mr. Bear this morning asking me to pick him up at the Newark airport. I got to the airport and there was an entire entourage surrounding Mr. Bear while he waited for me to pick him up. He said that he wanted to go to my pool and swim, since he can't swim in his pool anymore. I reminded him that he if gets wet he will have to take a ride in the spinner thing with heat and he could fall apart. He jumped out of my car and said he wanted to go home now! and ran back to get on the plane and go home! please confirm that he arrived home safely, I am concerned but couldn't stop him.

and the followup conversation went as follows:
M: oh HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAA! I have a text into Mr Nicholas now. ah.... there is the reply: Bear arrived safely, mumbling something about spinners and surgery and heat and no thank you....
H: Guess he heard about my pool and thought it would be fun flying across the country. Unfortunately, being a bear, he didn't think it through and understand that if he can't go swimming with Nicholas, he can't swim with me....silly bear, glad he made it home safely!
M: we don't call him Adventure Bear for nothing. !!! LOL.
H: indeed. that he is Mr. Adventure Bear! and I forgot to mention that he brought me pizza crumbs - he said it started as a whole pie from the four paws pizza company, but it was a long flight and he was hungry. He said next time, he'll bring two pies one for the plane ride and one for me ( but he did warn that he gets super hungry at night) so I might end up with crumbs again...sigh
M: darn Bear! always eating everything.... amazing you got the crumbs!
H: truth be told, I got the box and there were crumbs inside, he asked me to recycle it for him....
M: HAHAHAHAHA. way to go Bear.

Have a great day everyone! I have Nicholas today, and we will be swimming. More than likely a berry hunt after that, as the pool trail is still loaded with them. Nicholas so loves those wild berries! I will try and get to condos when I can. Enjoy your day!

Hi, Michelle, I love the pic! Those two are crazy, silly, wonderful kitties :-D !! I can only imagine what goes through Elsa's mind while Bug and Lola are up to their antics... :lol:

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the pic. I so agree. Elsa gives them that "you've got to be kidding" look all the time. Then heads off for a nap. Too funny! THX on today: will do.
 
What silly sweet kitties. They are daredevils at that age. I missed the email exchange and the bear drama. Thanks for reposting. The little ones sure get attached to their stuffed friends. When we moved from South Dakota to Oklahoma, Mason was 5. He had a little stuffed Tiger named Salsa about the size of bear that he loved more than anything. Well, we stopped south of KC to spend the night in a hotel and somehow Salsa got lost and was never found. What trauma for all of us. To arrive in a new city, new school (he started first grade two days later), new apt, etc and not have his faithful friend with him. He still talks about Salsa and we think about him every time we drive past that hotel on our way to Iowa.

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) That they are: silly and sweet. Lola is one crazy cat, and on the flip side very loving and sweet. What a great adoption she, and Bug, have been. SO SO true on the little ones and their stuffed animals. So it is with Nicholas and Bear: they always go together. He calls Bear his adventure Bear. ;-) What a great story on Mason and Salsa. I can so relate to the trauma and drama of it all. How cool that Mason still remembers Salsa. I think it will be the same for Nicholas.

Have a great time at the pool. They really need to set up a program for the little ones too. Everyone else is getting a chance at the big pool. Seriouly, this is discouraging the youngsters, who supposedly are their target to develop as swimmers.

LOL on Lola and Bug, I think we know who the ringleader is there! Tess said she hid the Furrari keys really well so Emma can't get in the mix while you are gone.

Elsa, thanks for the early delivery! We needed it to focus on the Tour that early! The new dunkers are, Da Bomb! -- Auntie Annbean
 
:lol: When I read "Bear Stories" I thought you had encountered a bear on your hike!! Bear must be chuckling!.

Hope you had a good swim, berrying day today with Nicholas & Bear and that tomorrow's 4th of July celebrations will be lots of fun for Nicholas.

Did you get a thundershirt for Bear! He told me in the brief time we spent together that he doesn't like loud noises and things that go BOOM! I told him not to worry that Grammie Bean has it covered and will give him a thundershirt to wear to make him feel better, strong and brave! nailbite_smile nailbite_smile

Bear liked the idea of being strong and brave, yet he asked if he could stay nekkid as he much prefers the freedom of letting it all hang out - even though he doesn't know what it means. @-) @-) @-)



Hey Lil Bit,

Good job on your delivery today! Silly girl that you are, I heard you tumble in the driveway. What happened? And how did you manage not to spill the coffee or drop the cronuts! My beans loves those cronuts, but she really should not be eating them! She will get fat! Of course if she has a nice soft belly, that's a very comfy place to take a nap.

Morning Pam ~O) ~O) ~O) Thanks for the visit! Oh yes on those two: my resident newbies. They do liven things up - alot! :lol: THX on the Bear story - I thought it was fun, wanted to share.

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the pool. We did try, but he really misses the big one. I do agree with you. the youngsters are morning swimmers, and they have pretty much cut them out, short of beach play. I guess they figure that is good enough. so... I registered my complaint, doubt it did much good, but I did have my say. He needs more, and the big pool was it. It will be hard to wait til September when he can get back in there. I so agree with all you said. -- LOL, and yes on the ringleader: written all over her face, isn't it. :lol: :lol: Good thing Tess on hiding the Furrari keys!!! I don't trust Lola at all, and throw Emma into the mix well: :shock: :shock: :shock:

HI Ella - oh too funny on the Bears.... BUT!!! Yesterday on my hike I did see Bear! A big black one: lumbering down the trail in front of me. Very cool!, but I am grateful he was not interested in me.... headed to the lake, no doubt for some bear fishing! THX on today - we did have a good time, and berry picking was good. Some of the early blackberries are starting to be eatable! YAY! Nicholas was so happy to see them. :cool: I thinks so too on the 4th for him. He really enjoyed it last year. oh oh.... a cut it short hiker? I will check your condo. THX too on the pic.

Maui - Heeheehee... I did tumble, but am an expert on not spilling ANYTHING! no spillage allowed when dealing with liquid gold! I gots lucky today. I had to go and get more cronuts! bear ATE THEM ALL!!! sheshhhh! You gots it - be right over. I likes soft and squishy too! ~~Elsa, no spillage ever barista

HI Everyone! Happy Wednesday night. I almost typed Friday night. oh wishful thinking! :lol: :lol: Nicholas and I had a nice day at the pool. We manged about two hours before he was done, ready for the next adventure. He had an OK day there today, not as energized as usual, but still had fun. I guess William kept him up some last night, so I suspect being a tad bit tired wore on the energizer FISH. ;-) We still got in alot of slide time, and cannons. Love those cannon wars: him on one, me on the other, and lets see who can get who the wettest. Of course I let him have the upper hand. Fun times. We went berry picking after that - duh! that was fun, always is. There are still berries there to be had. By now one would have thought that he had eaten them all. lol. The blackberries are starting to make fruit, so hopefully the huckleberries will last until the blackberries are ready. It was funny - when we got to the spot where Bear went missing last time he remembered and proceeded to tell me all about Bear and what happened to him. He made sure it didn't happen again. :lol: :lol: I will post the Picassa link in tomorrows LooseLips.

HI Carla :-D THX on the photo. Oh yes! that she does. The only calm time is when she is sleeping. I'm glad you enjoyed the Bear story. Hillary is very good with the story telling.
