7/3 Jake AMPS 256 PMPS 272 - very improved today

Jake is much improved today! He actually walked to the food dish and ate a little bit on his own!! He has not done that since probably Monday of last week. I know it was Tuesday last week that I took him to the vet and he was in very bad shape. He has hardly walked at all for the past several days and could barely lift his head from his bed. Today he walked to the food dish and was very alert, watching me when I was in the room. He purred during his fluid treatment too. His gums are still yellow and he is still weak, but there is a marked difference. His BG levels on the pred are so far not as high as I thought they might be either so that is good too.
