Good Morning LL! Tease mode again, but it looks like Tess is done w/ the bounce, a nice little dribble. Not much of a bounce at all, in fact. :-D :-D It was so nice to see the little girl do a few laps in the Lagoon again yesterday.

Woemen's road race today, but it didn't start until 7:00am, thank goodness! I'll b on and off the board today, there is a small bonsai show in Santa Maria and I have to bring my tree. We'll probably just drop it off and pick it up later.

WCR All 5 Ps, Clean Plate Club and lots of early snuggles. Tess loikes the Olympics.

Re: 7/29 Tess AMPS~201

Very nice to just see this bare little whisper of a bounce. I think the girls were up to something at the lagoon!

Hope the bonsai tree does well .....I'm sure it is beautiful!

Got your note that you got the Terumos. When I was doing the testing with the micropipettor, more often than not, the MJs were less accurate than the Terumos but I just don't think any of these syringe manufacturers are concerned about accuracy on these small doses. One of the most interesting samples I got was when I dialed in 1u on an MJ syringe and it measured as 14.6 microliters which is 1.46u! When I then pulled up that amount into the Terumos, it was just a teeny tiny hair below the needle side of the 1.5u line so it was pretty accurate.

Since you do drops, it might not affect you as much as to which syringe you use. But I'm finding more and more that I really like these Terumos better. At first, they seemed to have a tendency to more bubbles but I just have to draw them much much slower than the MJs. BUT, bubbles are easier to get out with the Terumos. With lev and the MJs, if I flicked the syringe to get the bubbles up to the top, it made many more bubbles. The Terumos don't do that....it just goes to the top, I pull in air, and then express and out goes the bubble. But I'm getting to where now I can draw it slow enough that I'm not getting any bubbles at all.

I hope you like them; they do take some getting used to so it might take a little time.

Hi guys,
Wow on the rain during the women's road race this morning! Rusty and I watched most of it.
Tess, Rusty is waiting for you at the lagoon, so hurry and get there!

I'm about to start using the Terumos (next week, when we get home from Camp). I've already had several of them apart, testing to see if there is any hollow spot anywhere where insulin can get in where it shouldn't, and there isn't. I'm eager to begin using them, but the light isn't good at Camp and conditions there are primitive, so I'll hold off a week. Good luck with your Terumos. I'll be interested to hear how you like them.

Enjoy the evening. How did the bonsai show go?

Ella & Rusty
