HAPPY SUNDAY!!!

I think we're all moving a little slower around here this morning! Doug is a little sore from being Mr. Fix-It, Jessica and I are recovering from the whirlwind day we had yesterday. Oreo is well and Hershey is just-a bouncing... :YMSIGH:

Soon to head out to church and will be gone much of the AM cycle, as usual.

Hope y'all have a wonderful day -

Libby (& Hershey, too!)

Re: 7/29 Hershey AMPS(420) YUCKY!!!

Morning Libby and Hershey, sounds like a busy weekend for you all! Sorry about the yucky bounce, but you should be okay leaving for church! :-D Have a nice day.

Re: 7/29 Hershey AMPS(420) YUCKY!!!

Bummer on that amps. Hershey - what are you doing wayyyyyy upppppppp thereeeeeee? Come on down, the other floors are so much better.

Sounds like a very eventful day yesterday. WOW - I hope for a calm even keel one for you today. Have a good one! :-D

Oh dear, Hershey, that's not a Sunday-worthy AMPS! Come on down! Here, I'll post you a rainbow so you can tell the difference between where you are and where you should be, in pretty pretty blues and greens! (We're doing condo visits with extras today, since it's Sunday! The rainbow is from the Hout Bay valley, which we overlook here on the mountain.)

Happy Sunday!

Boing!! Much too high, Hershey! Come on down with us. We miss you.

Well Libby, the good part about the bounces is that you get a day of freedom from worry and can go out comfortably. I hope you have a good day. R&R is the order for today.

Permit to leave home granted, Hershey? You know its a Sunday, so you let your beans to go out for some catch up? Come down a bit! Blue is more relaxing!

Re: 7/29 Hershey AMPS(420) YUCKY!!!

Libby,
If you look back on the past few days...
Hershey was nice enough to have a "high maintenance cycle" during daylight hours.
Yesterday, with you gone and Doug busy, he needed little attention.
Today, a busy family Sunday, he gave you the peace of mind to leave and not worry.

Either he's reading over your shoulder, or eavesdropping on family discussions. His level of cooperation borders on genius.
Have a perfect family day:-)

Re: 7/29 Hershey AMPS(420) +7.5(138)

Home from church and our weekly Costco visit. It is a HOT one here today! If you could truly 'melt away the pounds' I'd be skinny!

Being the BAD MOM that I am, I forgot to set the automatic feeder. :o  So, the +5 feeding became a +7.5 feeding this cycle. Good thing his numbers were high enough not to be too worried about needing the food to bring him up!

@Ann - Thanks for visiting! It HAS been a busy weekend...I've discovered I don't recover as well as I used to.

@Michelle - Looks like Hershey listened to you. Yes, today is a 'recovery' day...trying to get things squared away to begin a new week...would rather take a nap, though. ;-)

@Jane - Thanks for the gorgeous rainbow picture! I can never take good rainbow pictures. I guess the visual aid helped! I said I was willing to paint all of the walls blue and green if it'd help his #. :-D

@Melanie - Hey! Too high, indeed! I guess hearing from multiple people, he thought he should listen. :-D Hope you're having a good day, too!

@Helen - Permission to leave was nice, but now we're home and ready to get down to better numbers! Blue sounds more relaxing to me, too, like cool, blue water...

@Angela - Thanks for the wishes for lower #'s...hope he keeps listening! Have a good day :-D

@Carl - Yes, Hershey is very considerate, giving a higher number so I wouldn't worry about him today. He appreciates you recognizing his genius. ;-) I'm home now and don't have a lot of plans this week, so he can c'mon down! :-D It has been a good day (except forgetting the auto-feeder). Going to work on clearing my camera from yesterday and send Joseph a note...and try not to fall asleep

+7.5 (138) I was a little surprised by that number, but it was a good sample and the strip looks like it sucked it all the way up, so not going to retest...

Re: 7/29 Hershey PMPS(231)

Looks like the bounce cleared quickly! Get a +2 or +3 to see if Hershey is up to some excitement tonight?

Re: 7/29 Hershey PMPS(231)

Hi guys,
Quite a day for Mr. Hershey! Now maybe he'll settle down a bit. You had a busy weekend. You say you don't recover as quickly as you once did??? Join the club! I'm beginning to think that the best way to recover is not to stop and therefore not to need to recover!

Enjoy the evening. I hope your weather cools off some.

Ella & Rusty

Thanks for visiting Rusty when we were at Canoe Outing.

Re: 7/29 Hershey PMPS(231)

Libby,
Oops. Since Hersh is on Lev, a +4 to +5 would make more sense to see how the onset goes. If I cost him extra ear pokes, tell him I'm sorry! ;-)

@Ella - Well, that's a thought! Looking forward to fall weather!

@Michelle - Thanks. I do hope Hershey is finished with all of that pink nonsense!

@Carl - No worries. I figured you meant a +4. I usually do +4, then test/feed +5 and often +7 test. If +5 looks safe, I've been skipping the +7, trying to catch up on sleep...

@Helen - WOW! I never even thought about which common houseplants were toxic. Thanks! It seems I mislabeled my plant. After researching, I believe it may be in the rhododendron family, which can be toxic to pets and people. I've had it longer than I've had Oreo...I had another plant, but when we left Oreo unattended, he chewed it off the the soil and it died. Glad it wasn't toxic! He is the culprit with the chewing on the plant. I don't think either of them really want to eat it...maybe they tasted and it was bitter or something. But, it's viney and when it gets in their 'bubble' they chew at it sometimes. Maybe I need to try to find it a home...

As I was checking which plants were toxic, I found a list of ones that help purify the air - think I'm going to do more reading on those, too...Thanks, again!

Thanks, Everybody, for visiting!!!

+4 (236)
+5.25 (234) - fed

+7 unlikely tonight...Goodnight....

Nice flat yellow tonight - is Hershey looking forward to an interesting day tomorrow? Have a good sleep Libby.

good to know which plants are toxic! i've nearly given up on having flowers in the house because anya won't leave them alone. she's broken vases and everything, little squirt. good thing i love her - although when she busted a vase that was from my mom & dad's wedding i was pretty annoyed.

hershey looks pretty flat tonight!
