Nothing unusual to report with my sweet little snugglebugs this morning....all the usual "new" routines are in place, including computer-time snuggles.

As I mentioned last night. Petey's BW came back and all is good. It was just routine senior BW, but it is pretty darn rare that I get to hear a vet say "Your cat's BW looks good"...even with my healthy kitties, I always seem to get blindsided by some crazy anomaly. Dr R will be back in the office on Wednesday, so I will talk to her just to catch up with her (she wasn't there the day Petey got his exam - we had taken him in when he wasn't feeling well and it was her day off) about Petey and Trix.

We had our family meeting last night, followed by a very nice birthday dinner for my SIL. My Dad is completely asymptomatic, which is very good, but is also what makes this whole thing so unbelievable. Our appointment with the oncologist is this afternoon....please keep those prayers coming.

I'm not sure how much I'll be able to be around this week or so, but please know I have all of you in my thoughts and prayers....

Nice start for Trixie. Nothing unusual to report is a great way to start a Monday. Good deal on Petey's BW. That doesn't seem to happen much for you and you definitely deserve a HUGE break. Tons of vines coming for your dad and big hugs for you Amy!

Great news about Petey's BW! And Trixie is doing well.

We are thinking positive thoughts for your Dad and sending him lots of vines. It is good that you and your family were able to get together last night to celebrate your SIL's birthday and just be together.

(((Amy))), That's a great start for Trixie, and I was so happy to hear the good news about Petey so you don't have to shoulder those worries during this time. It is a surreal feeling in the early days of dealing with cancer, like being in a nightmare that you don't wake up from... at least it was with my mom. So I can say, try to breathe deeply, whatever happens, and remember that we're all here sending our continued prayers and vines!
 
Trixie is looking good today. I'm glad Petey's b/w was good. Sending prayers for your DF and your family. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
 
Shasta and I have been thinking about you guys all day. Praying for some good news on an action plan, prognosis, health, spirit, etc. :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
