Morning LL!! All is well here! Moonie pulled herself up on the bed to lie next to me last nite as I was going to bed, and this am-When I woke up-
My heart soars when she does this!--
MY DSIL was upset because Moonie walks on her hocks a lot..Yes she can walk on her toes & does so on the Tile floors, but on carpeting, she likes to walk that way---She never fully recovered from the original neuropathy she had when dx'd in 2008.
But she gets around just fine, jumps up on everything she wants to & leaps up to the cat napper by herself almost 3 feet up--
So what is normal to us, is not normal to others--It did make me feel badly--I even cried over it :cry:
But I know she is fine & lives with her disability ! Vet said it does not hurt her to walk on her hocks..so....
She does get all the meds for neuropathy, methyl B12 & Dasuquin..She is not in pain at all.

Well, yet another relative is coming today!! UUUGGGHHHHH!!!!-We are all just about tired of company, but will be all accomodating ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile ohmygod_smile

Calling DPS to ask her to come learn how to test her-She already shoots when we arent home. She had not beern testing -I am leaving for the 3 days on 8/6-8/8 and it's almost here nailbite_smile- I want her to at least have amps & amps--
I am so worried about her, but DH will be home at least, & she does love him-Dont want 2 people doing things to her while I am gone, as I feel she will panic & run.
Hope we see nice numbers today--Think It's 3rd cycle on 0.75--Have a good day all! :mrgreen:

ah so true - what is normal to us, not always to others. I am sorry that her reaction upset you, but ya know I think it would have made me cry too. Sometimes they just don't truly understand what all you have been through, and that Moonie really is doing great.

So chin up! You gave an awesome kitty! And good luck with the DPS - I am sure that will go fine too. hard to leave them I know - I have yet to do that, short of for the day. I'd be stressed over being gone for 3 days too. But -- you have great people to be with her, she will be just fine. Better watch it though - Mannie reads these things and no doubt once he knows Moonie is on her own he will be pestering to come for a visit....

More company? I don't know how you do it. I'd be hiding in the closet with my cats lol!
Moonie will be fine, try and not worry too much.

Company is OK--Cats are OK too, as my DC is a cat person so cats will be able to have their LB's where they are now--Which is a big factor!
Moonie stayed blue for most of the day--Thanks for the support..We appreciate it!

I've wracked my brains-got em all except DC?! Just won't come to me........

Kitties and mommabean on Prozac-that could have been very interesting, darn pesky company for being nice! :razz:

DC is Dear Cousin...Moonie came down nicely in spite of company--All is well-DC is fine with LB's in her room--Thank God she's a cat person and is used to our ways-- dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat
Copper is in hiding so far, but this cousin was actually here when I found them under a tree in our yard as kittens 14 years ago!!
Hope civvie comes out by labor day- :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Our kitties do not like their routines being changed do they? Glad that your DC is a cat person....
sending HUGS to you ~~maybe that will work instead of the Prozac! LOL...you can always escape to the forum here where you can vent and relax a little.
Hey, company comes where there is a beach...so either MOVE to the sticks someplace or put up with the visitors, right? That is so nice that you are so hospitable. It must be a FUN place to visit. And another thing....it is nice to enjoy everyone while we can. Life is short...Know what I mean?

Hi Roni,
Moonie will be fine, especially since she's a cat person and your DH will be home.. I was gone five days, and I really worried, but Maggie did fine, even with the mix-up of neighbor coming in to feed. Mags is also a cat person but very shy at first. Good for teaching your DPS to test her; it will make you feel better. Good numbers today for sweet Moonie. Take care.

I know about family coming to visit in "paradise", but now they all moved out here so no problem! :lol:

Glad Miss Moonie has settled back down, nice PMPS.

We get our share of company, too, here in "vacation land". But it's fun to see friends and family, so we don't mind. Don't worry about your trip, Roni, everything will go well and Moonie will be fine. Stu will visit her and she can show him the beach. (We took Alice (GA) to Jones Beach in November once, when we were in the process of selling our apartment and the realtor wanted to have an open house. We thought she would find the beach interesting, but poor Alice was dismayed by all that sand. I think she thought we were going to leave her there! The poor thing! The only thing that really mattered to her was that she had a home. We felt just awful and immediately put her back in her carrier and got out of there!)

Uh Oh Moonie's stress is showing!! She went up at +5, guess she isnt so cool after all--But she got petted & scritched all night by my DC
AND DC cooked all the dinner--I could like this!! Not so bad :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Moonie is rockin and will miss her mama but she's in great hands!! Lots of love and attention and not so many pokies, won't she just love that!

You still have plenty of training days left too :lol:

great numbers tonight and what a great mama you are! Remember you deserve the little break and she's as close as the phone :-D or skype!!!
