Morning!! I am not happy about this..She ate some breakfast and nibbled some food again --she was more active today..I dropped the dose to sk0.3U last night just to see if that would help some, & that's what I shot this am..Lo & behold, she
dropped yet again today, after eating lc & the little dose reducie..I dont know what to make of it, but I
would like to see her stabilize & eat more...She is older & needs to keep up her weight & good health--
Feeding these low numbers makes her not want LC food at all..That's not good..
Gave her 6 temptations & 3 tsp mc ff elegant medleys...Will check her in a half hour..
I realize otj is out of the question, but then I remember what happened to our dear Stu..

Umm... Miss Moonie... You need to not do this and freak out your Momma Bean, ok? Please? Not good, lil' sweetheart. Not good. However, you DO need to eat your meals. You need to stay strong and healthy. Ok? Please?

Gave her couple Drops of karo, 5 temptations & mc and she came up to 76...Thank God--I havent had to do this in years!! I am just giving her 2 tsp gravy now..Barb & Tuffy told me to try the monoject syringes even if I could try one pkg, as I DO think part of this is the BD syringes being so inaccurate!--Called my pharmacy & we are picking them up later today..
I dont know why this is happening, but then FD the Mystery disease!! Be back 1/2 hour...

Holy mollie with the 33!! Moonie, don't scare your MomBean! Glad she came up, Roni. Now surf those nice and safe greens.

She is hopefully at her nadir or close so I will wait an hour to test again--On dose reduction, she's on a sk 0.3, I guess I would reduce to 0.1U..??????? Or 0.25? as I am not quite at that yet...Going to get the new syringes & check them out--Looks like the Terumo look like the BD..I will check out the MONOJects to see if I think they will be better--I know the consensus here is terumo right?

SHE'S SURFING!! rUNNING OUT FOR SYRINGES & BRB--Finally I feel better with this-Now I will neew a new dose-Will se what she is later!

Wow, Moonie, that was some action, nice surf going now. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Those syringes drive us crazy too. I'm about to start using the calipers to measure the dose.

Wow Moonie, what a day. I don't think the diving competition has started quite yet. Keep surfing, I think that's a sport too isn't it? Congrats on the reducie.

Gosh Moonie...look at you go lovely one.

Roni....never say never! Have you ever looked at DCs SS? He has been dx longer than Moonie and got down to .1u and it looked like he would go to the Falls but then got pancreatitis. So I'm hoping Moonie is 150% fine and has just decided she doesn't want anymore juice!

Yes.....I like the Terumos much better. They are a little less accurate than most but they don't have that darn hub on them. The Monojects started being produced with the needle not coming all the way down through the hub and so, if you don't carefully control how much you push the plunger in, she can get extra insult n that is in the hub. That can't happen with Terumos.

Wow, Moonie, settle down into those higher greens now. Your mamabean needs you to cooperate!!

I hope the Monojects work for you, Roni. I'm about to do the switch from Monojects to Terumos. All of the recent lots of Monojects that I have examined (very closely) are faulty in that the base of the needle does not come down to the bottom of the "cone". As Marje says, it makes it difficult to measure a dose correctly. I have been using the calipers with the Monojects, but still never know exactly what I am shooting. As soon as I get through this old box of much more accurate Monojects (a box that I had from last summer), I am switching to Terumos. Moonie was good tonite & ate a bit & was decent numbers--Dinner was delayed so we got home at 12:30 instead of 11,....We are sorry ! In was so wanting to get a =3 from the beginning..Got a +4~123 :mrgreen:
Now She is just fine--I shot somewhere between 0.2 & 0.1 with a bubble--Monoject not so easy to operate--giant bubbles in them & itr gets very awkard--DN's boyfriend paid for dinner--Love that guy
