Hmm, we've had a few pinks after a promising string of greens. Even pulled out the R last night though it didn't do much (need to get a new bottle though I think, had this one since April). She's also started drinking a bit of water last few days - not much, but noticeable because she wasn't previously. Bit worried about another UTI, started the DMannose again. Not sure what else could explain this change in numbers. I did have to mess with dosing a bit when I was out. At least she's not being picky about food. Wondering how long to stick at 3.5 before increasing again.

WSU has finally got hold of the study kit materials and it's on its way, so we should be getting the acro/IAA tests done in the next week.

Hope Minnie doesn't have a UTI. :( How does she do with the D-Mannose? I was giving it to Ruby, think it worked well to cure whatever inflammation she had going on but she was leaving poop all over the house (sorry, maybe TMI?). How much do you give Minnie?

I'm curious to see the acro/IAA results, even in cats that don't have it. I haven't seen a lot of data from cats that test negative, so interested either way. Hoping of course on the not. :bighug:

I used my R bottle for over a year.

Hope Minnie doesn’t have an UTI and that the acro test is negative :bighug: i was looking at her spreadhseet and saw that before the ragnar relay she was at 4 units, maybe that is the reason why she is yellow again :-? Sometimes they would go lower but more as a pancreas attempt at work and then “stabilize” on the dose, and since it is still not her dose she stabilized in higher numbers o_O this is only a theory of mine based on Chico behavior, if this is correct it is a good sign that Minnie’s pancreas works sometimes and for better work she might just need some more insulin
hope you figure out her numbers :bighug:
