Still very high for Simon this morning. I upped his dose to 1.0 to see if that will change anything. I played around with a few different glucometers last night, but all were within 10-15 points of each other. I thought maybe the battery was bad but no such luck! I'm calling this morning to get a vet visit tomorrow. Simon still is acting his usual self so I shouldn't be too worried, right? Still eating well and using the lb.

Cleo is doing really well. I started putting the aluminum hydroxide on her food since she won't touch any kidney food. She is eating well and even played alot last night. I have the scratches to prove it!

G'Morning. Like you said, Simon's his usual self - it's not just about the #s, as frustrating
as I'm sure they are :? . Excellent report on Cleo! :smile:

I think Simon is telling you not to worry. What a good boy. I bring my dog into the vet for "peace of mind" checks - more for me than her.

Cleo is making me smile.

I had to look twice to see the name in the subject line.....these are not Simon numbers.

I think you are right to go to the vet.....we always hope it is nothing but it would be good to have a reason why the numbers are so high.
I am glad that he is feeling good.....that is what is most important. :smile:

But like you said, Simon appears happy and normal so we will be happy with that.

Good luck on the new dose and YAY Cleo sounds to be doing really well.

Come on down, Simon! Your mamabean is concerned about you. I hope you see some downward motion today, Georgia. Good that Cleo is doing well. Simon will be fine, too; he's acting normally and that's a plus. But it would set your mind at ease to take him to the vet if the higher numbers continue into next week. It could be that he misses his ear drops??

Hi guys .. sorry to see simon higher then normal .. a vet check is probably a good idea, even if it is just for peace of mind nothing is wrong .. maybe the heat? Glad to hear cleo is doing well .. You take such good care of your babies .. have a great day guys!
