7/28 Doogle update

[Donna & Doogle]

Doogle is eating on his own and going to the litter box ok. His potassium is still a little low but his BS is staying in the 160s. So they are changing him to a crystallized insulin that thay give every 6-8 hours. They are going to check for ketones to see where they are. We have to pick him up by 7:30am because they are only 24 hours on the weekends. So we have to take him to a vet and have labs done to check him. If his ketones arent gone and potassium is where it should be, he will need to stay with that vet. They have taken some of the ivs out at least. So I will know more in the morning. So better today but not as good as tomorrow.

That's great news that Doogle is feeling better and his electrolytes are stabilizing. Sending more vines that Doogle continues to improve.
