This morning's breakfast was a chicken breast and chicken liver Weruva pouch. And sliding it out of the package was one of the most unappetizing experiences I've ever had

Chloe didn't seem to mind, though. Ate at least half of it before I left.

From the looks of Chloe's numbers she might be feeling better! Yeah, a lot of cooked cat foods are blech and smell gross to me. I have a hard time with it these days since I started feeding raw because the meat is so fresh it has no odor. As long as Chloe is eating, that's all that matters. The things we do.

It wasn't the smell. It was the texture. It was so... rubbery and gelatinous. It came out in a solid, SPAM-like slab. I mixed it up with a spoon for a few minutes so it was more pate-like. I wasn't sure she'd be able get a bite otherwise.

Yes, she's definitely feeling better. She has been up on my lap several times and not really sleeping under furniture for the most part. Maybe she realizes it's a new dark space to hide in.
