Goooood morning, LL! Happy Caturday!
All is good in Ripley's Universe today
.
She slept all night on her rocker (she usually spends a few nights on her rocker, then a few nights next to me, then back to her rocker, and so on...). When my alarm went off this morning, she was sitting on my chest; I was in such a deep sleep, I didn't even know she was there. I also apparently slept though her midnight nadir alarm. Hmmmm. There may be BTB time in my near future....
She had a big day yesterday: my family, including my 2 nieces came over to play at our house, and Ripley came out from the bedroom on her own and got rather social! I was so proud of her. (The extent of her social-ness usually involves her on her rocker and sleeping through the 'chaos' of the girls throwing Marley's toys for him (our drooler) and 120-lb Marley bounding through our tiny home fetching the toys, clumsily, I might add.)
Yesterday, Ripples came out and even sat next to one of the girls while she was playing video games; if looked as though Ripley was watching, or perhaps overseeing, the video game play.
So cute.
Something funny: While my family was here, my mom and I were talking about how Ripley had gained much higher status since her diagnosis and treatment: she has become the center of the household, my life, even at her vet's office... When I checked the mail yesterday, I saw that there was a letter from the pharmacy that supplies her Lantus. The letter was addressed to "Ripley [our last name]."

Yep. Ripley is getting her own mail now.
(DH mumbled something like "Maybe Ripley can start paying her own bills now..." )
Sending vines and hugs to all who need them today. :YMHUG:
