Yesterday was YELLOW day in MannieLand. A very flat yellow.... let's see: the day before was a flat blue, yesterday was a flat yellow. hmmmmmmm.... does that mean today will be a flat pink? sheesshhh! hope not, I'll choose the other direction and hope that the two prior flat days mean that today will be a flat nice even green. the logic is there, right? sooooooo..... what's with the 303 this morning Mannie? :?
Think blue, think green Mannie! Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon
All is well in MannieLand.
I sweat I will do as Ann said and get a camera that I can wear/hang around my neck so that it is with me when "those once in a lifetime moments" occur.... like yesterday (yes, I missed it....).... Mannie was all snuggled up on his nanners. DGS decides once again that Mannie needed a BIG HUG. A really big one! After that was accomplished he so wanted to pick him up again. Mannie was once again the wet noodle, or the water balloon as Barb described it: everything went limp. Poor DGS - he had a grip on both ends, with this floppy saggy cat in the middle.   What a three ring circus that was. You could see DGS sigh when he had to put Mannie back down... so what does he do? Lays down next to Mannie, and puts his head on Mannie's chest and snuggles up. For about one minute, until Mannie moved. You could read the thoughts: "DUDE! I really need to breathe, ya know?"  What kitty would put up with all that? Too FUN! This morning we had a great test, feed, shoot and clean plate club (YAY), AND the auto feeder was USED by Mannie, (YAY, and back at it!) Elsa still thinks it has her name on it (yes still)... so I am back to running interception on the feeder.... Normalcy in MannieLand.
Have a great day everyone. I am still on DGS duty today. We will go to the pool today, and then off to wherever the weather looks good: maybe the beach today... WOO HOO: fun times! I will try to get to condos when I can - it is just too difficult when he is here. I will be thinking of you all, and your furkids. Think blue, think green kitties!
Hey everybody! I SO FEEL THE NEED.... need for WIND! in my whiskers! so..... SKYDIVING!
You guys in? It will be so cool! and we gets to fly in a plane and land on targets and really go ZOOOOOOOOOOOM, ya know? you guys in? well ok if not..... we could go to the pool too, maybe float on some floaties, make hot dogs and have micro brews. let me know! I am ready for anything ~ ~Mannie
And completely OT: Here are some photos from DGS and my adventures yesterday: Beckler River. Nicholas and I had a great day at the river. The skies were blue, temp was 65/70, the river was so so gorgeous, and we even had mountain views for our backdrop. This is Beckler, and we went last week too. It's a two hour drive, but ever so worth it. DGS had such a good time: throwing rocks, picking wildflowers, walking a trail we found that parallels the river. There is a bridge that one has to cross to get to this trail, so we stopped on it for a while so Nicholas could throw rocks into the river. I fond some sticks and began to teach him how to play pooh sticks. WHAT A FUN DAY!!! I've also included the FaceBook links for anyone who wants to see all the photos, and the videos: Beckler River
