Morning ~O) ~O) I need lots of it today from Michelle. All is well with Maggie; no prezzies yet, but maybe later. I reduced the Lactulose to 1.5 ml vs. the 2 ml she had been getting. We'll see if we need to go back up. I missed my Vet's call, but he left a message instructing to adjust the Lactulose as needed and then doing a Miralax maintenance. He said to pick up the Lactulose today in his office since I just had a sample. He wanted to see how she was doing on it with her bg, so I E-mailed Maggie's ss. I didn't think I could buy it there and thought I needed a script, so I wonder if I heard right. I'll confirm later. Lots of errands to do later which I've procrastinated, and now they're piling up. Hope the coffee can see me thru it.

Sounds like you have a good plan in place for Maggie and the LB issues. It dosen't look like the meds have affected her BG much at all. YAY for that. :cool:

Enjoy your errands today - I hope you can get all accomplished that you need to do. Maybe a walk too? Have a good one Ann.

Glad to know that Maggie is slowly doing her LB activities and lovely blue bg at the PS! Hope she gets better with the Miralax maintenance.

Getting back to some greenness, almost! I've been giving Mags treats of Beechnut bf after she has the Lactulose, so maybe it raises her bg slightly!

Hi Michelle, and thanks on the ~O) ~O). Yes, I'll need to get Maggie on a regular rear end maintenance program, so to speak. :-D Oh boy, the way we talk about their personal stuff!

Hi Jane, I think Maggie heard you, as she's starting to show her pretty numbers side. The morning AMPS is on the high side, as she free feeds ovenight.

Thanks Helen, we were posting same time. I hope so, too, on Maggie. We'll keep her on the Lactulose a bit longer and then go to the daily Miralax.

Have fun running errands, Ann. I've almost caught up on mine. Ran out of time yesterday, so had to just get the essentials at Walmart. Thankfully, I went to AC Moore first, where Jessica and I had time to look at every piece of scrapbook paper AND every sticker! Priorities and all that :lol: At Ginnie's shower tomorrow, I'm giving her a scrapbook and supplies to start Samuel's 1st year scrapbook.

You can get a script for it and bring it to a pharmacy. I got a very large supply through Sam's Club/Walmart that was non flavored for under $10. I forget what I paid at the vet, but it was more $mula$ for sure!

Nice to see Maggie getting back to normal. After finally getting cleared out she may have nothing left to give! :lol: :lol:

It seems i never get all my errands done any more. always running home to check the kitter.

Hi Libby, back from running errands and didn't make it to Walmart for the strips but am going to place an order with ADW. I may have spoiled her green, as I left her a spoonful of FF T&G to keep her surfing. Not always, but it can cause a spike.

Hi Ann & Tess, I think you're right; she's cleaned out, so nothing to give today. I do the same in never finishing errands, as I hate to leave Maggie for too long.

Carolyn, I dropped by the Vet's office, and they had a 32 oz big bottle of Lactulose ready for me - 245 ml!!
They charged $13.50, not too bad. Yes, it's the plain one. I'll have it on hand for quite a while in for when I need it.

Hi Liz, no prezzies yet to report for Detective Poo, but maybe later. :-D She did leave me a giant pee clump though!

A Yellow for Maggie!! I checked the meter three times, poor Maggie's ear. I only gave about a tsp or more of the FF T&G before I left for errands, so maybe a bounce! I think Maggie was probably on her way up at the +5, and the FF T&G gave her a boost! Or Maggie's just being a cat!
It's multiple choice! Pick only one! :-D

Hi Ann......... What a nice cycle today, and that pmps, is light yellow, so it's closer to blue. :-D
She feels good, that's what matters.
Hoping for some nice daily activity from the Miralax maintenance. :smile:

Hi Ann!

Maggie had a nice blue surf today. I wouldn't worry about that yellow. She might have eaten just before you got home and it's a low one. I hope she sees green tomorrow.

I have the same problem with getting things done. It seems whenever I'm about to go out to run errands, Racci goes to low for me to feel comfortable leaving her or I have to get back for her low cycle! Luckily I can get DH to go for me a lot of the time.

I never go out to do errands before Moonie's +5, as that way I feel OK & dont worry...
I make a list & if I get half done that's great (and a miracle :lol: ) Then I make another list fr the next excursion, and try to do a few things--then another list & another list............... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
Hope Maggie gives some Magical poo & feels great & you see some Green soon--

Back to blue slowly! :-D

Thanks Barb & Checkers. I just gave Maggie her second dose. This time she was really not liking it. I couldn't find her Beechbut bf today that I give as a treat, so I gave just a tiny bit of Gerber.

Thanks Melanie, it does seem she gets low right around the time I need to leave, and I'm always afraid something unforeseen might happen. like with the car, so I leave food for her and sometimes she eats right befor I get home.

Hi Roni, yes, I do the same and try not to leave til after the +5 or +6 unless I have a doctor's appt. We have no reserved parking here, and I've figured out a window of time that I can do errands, appts, and then return and find a parking space close enough. It's very stressful though, as I do her shot so early that the rest of the day I get so tired I can't rest. It's crazy! Thanks for the magical poo vines.
 
The yellow looks like it was very short lived and Maggie is back to the blues. Not too bad!

$13.50 is very cheap...I don't think I have ever left my vet's office without spending at least $100!

Wishing Maggie some good poo wishes and Ann, I wish you a very quiet and peaceful evening. Hope you get some rest!
 
Looks like Mags is working on clearing that bounce. Miss Maggie: I want to hear tales of zoom zooms tomorrow morning!!!
