Yesterday's Condo

Okay, I give up. What the heck is up with these stinky pinky AMPS numbers, followed by yellow surfs??? Then to totally spin me out, he throws in that visit to the lagoon last night. confused_cat confused_cat confused_cat What are you doing, Cinco? There is nothing unusual going on with him, except for these numbers, so I am flummoxed. Any ideas?

Other kitties doing okay. Sasha sounds a tad less congested. She is eating well and being her loving self. Minka and Harvey are holding steady as she goes. Last week of radiation for Sasha. I'm happy to say nothing else to report (anti-jinx). :smile:

Just watched a really good race at Indy (NASCAR), and now I'm headed up to change into my work clothes. On the agenda: Taking everything out of our little greenhouse (the kind you buy at Harbor Freight or Costco and put up yourself), removing weeds and stray berry plants that have taken up residence, and putting down that anti-weed netting to help prevent their return. Then cleaning off the shelving and reassembling, repotting some plants, and general re-organizing. Busy afternoon, in other words, so I'd better get going! DH is taking a nap while I get my condo up and get ready.

Oh Cinco, you are confusing your momma bean. How about settling back down to some nice blue and green surfs.

I see that last time you fattened the dose instead of going up by .25U. I usually save fattening the dose for when I'm just trying to tweak the greens a bit, otherwise a full .25U increase seems to work better. The other thing is that it's been a while since Cinco saw green so he's bouncing. :roll: With Neko, it really doesn't take long for glucose toxicity to set in. I find that if she doesn't see green every few days, I have to go a little higher in dose to get her kick-started back.

Have fun mucking about with the greenhouse. I've been looking at them recently as DM needs a new one.

Sorry Cinco is driving you crazy with his numbers. Good luck with any dose adjustments you make. I'm glad Sasha is less congested.

Wendy, the reason I just fattened the dose is that Marje advised me to do so. It was right after our crazy weekend when we were gone and his schedule was thrown off. She thought that might be all he needed. Apparently not. I was reluctant to do it, but I trust Marje's judgement, so I agreed to try it. She said if it didn't work, we could go ahead with the rest of the .25, and we did. Cinco used to react to small changes like that, but not lately, so I didn't hold out a lot of hope, but he's been doing strange stuff recently, so why not?

I'd better get back out to work - was just taking a quick gatorade break. It's hot out there! DH made the astute comment as he was digging up weeds in the greenhouse - "Man, it's hot in here!" I looked at him, straight-faced and replied, "Isn't that the point?" :lol: :lol:

Now Cinco...I think you and China have caused enough trouble for one weekend..it's time for you guys to get with the program!! <<stern mama voice>>
