AMPS 253, 9th cycle at f1.0u, 1PP, 1/8 zantac, 1mg Ondansetron, 1/16t miralax, 1.35oz 10%
+1 1.25oz 10%, 7 drops kidney liquid

All good here today. Zener is feeling fine. He is definitely feeling better after his anal gland expression yesterday and his wobbliness has improved. Yay! I had to chuckle because we saw a different vet yesterday. Our regular vet had filled her in on Zener but the new vet said "feline diabetes can be a big time commitment" and after expressing his glands, "keep a close eye on him". :lol: I thought, "I can tell you every 0.05oz of food that he's eaten in the past 6 months and every BG value for the past year. Yes, I know it's a big time commitment and I watch him very closely." Ah, she meant well. I should have showed her the SS. :lol:

OT: Anne is on her way. She is scheduled to land in Philly at +4 in the am and arrive in Flagstaff at +4 in the pm.

Ann & Mags: Detective Poo is very proud of your good work this week. And she spotted Zener engaging in suspicious behavior this morning, a thorough investigation to follow.

Hi guys .. well I'm glad to hear zener is feeling good! To funny on the vet's comments .. ahh .. if they only knew all that we do for our little critters! I hope Anne has easy flights with no delays! Have a great day guys!

Hi Liz, glad Zener is feeling better since his anal gland expression yesterday and great his wobbliness has improved. Thanks for the kudos poos for Maggie! :lol: It sounds like Zener has something waiting to be investigated by Detective Poo, too.
I was thinking that sounds like a long flight for Anne from Philly, but then there's the time change, too and delays. I remember three years ago it took me 12 hours to arrive in State College PA from SD, CA! Unexpected happenings. Wishing Anne a safe flight and trip home.

Zener's numbers are starting to look really nice today. Does he want to put on his best colours to greet Anne? Sending trouble free travel vines to her.

Too funny on the vet. I was talking to the older vet at my clinic and he was surprised to see evening numbers in the SS. Well, duh! I had to bite my tongue and not remind him that cats have two cycles a day.

Oh yeah, there's gonna be a be a big welcome home party for the missing bean! I'm glad Zenner is feeling better after his vet visit.

:lol: :lol: :lol: Yeah, it is a commitment. I've had a vet blanch when she looked at the SS. I think too many beans are not willing to make that commitment.

Crazy cat. I'm giving him some 11%. We just got back on schedule. My crystal ball is saying we will have to stall and then he's going below 50.

Devon: This vet has no idea, that's for sure.

Ann & Mags: it's about a 24 hour trip from Scotland. :roll: All going well so far.

Wendy: He thought he would impress you with some green. :mrgreen:

Ann & Tess: it's heresy around here but I can understand why some people don't want to make the commitment to take care of a diabetic cat. I feel sorry for them though, and I can't imagine not doing everything we can for Zener.

Look at that PMPS! Zener must be wanting to show Anne how good of a boy he has been while she has been away.

Glad to hear Zener is feeling better after his vetty visit. So funny on the new vet and her comments. If she only knew.... :-D

I have learned so so much about life, Love & patience, comittment, dedication & perserverence From Moonie and Her FD! With all the sacrifice I Must say it was all worth it!!
So those who dont understand, haven ever loved a cat!!
