Good Morning Lantus Land!

A BIG Hand to Marje for Babysitting us into the wee hours last night & Carl for co-piloting & everyone else who tuned in to keep us company- thanks again, you took the scaries away & made it fun. I can see why people who go through this alot are tempted to ring the 49 bell. Is there no other way to get a dose reduction?

Wow - can you believe +3.5 = 66 to an AMPS of 401? Tigger - really?

After Tigger's Great Adventure, his longest time since DX into Blue AND Green, he's slipped back into his comfy pink. Just wish I'd been able to sleep today, knowing he's pretty level. Hopefully this will be a short bounce & he will have a more gentle (& LEVEL) surf into the blues again. I really like the low blues, Tigger!

I may have contributed to todays levelling - gave T a smaller breakfast & then the rest @ +2 - had to leave for several hours & didn't want any huge drops while I was away. Have to leave again soon, but I think he's pretty level for now.

Great job last night Suzanne! Thanks for visiting me late last night. I hear you on really liking those low blues, but soon you'll love :mrgreen: too. And hopefully Tigger's liver will as well. :lol: :lol:

You go Tigger! Way to stress your mom! Haha - isn't it mixed emotions. So happy to see green, but so fearful it will go too low? And I just love it in the middle of the night. Party time!!!! flip_cat

@ Wendy & Dara: You're so right - it was wonderful seeing green, just not ALL at once, please!!! I know we're making up for lost time, but how about some higher green numbers that last longer, OK?

Well, we'll see who's up again tonight - I'll make the popcorn - who's got the movie? :lol:

Hi Suzanne! Sorry to see Tigger bounced so high . . . I guess he thinks he has to live up to his name! Anyways fun PJ party last night, thanks for looking in on Papaya while we were all up! I hope Tigger comes back down to some nice, level blues and greens soon.

Thanks, Amy! At least there were a number of us up, so that made it more interesting! Yes, Tigger can bounce with the best of them, but maybe that means I can catch up on sleep tonight! :lol:

I like Papaya's baby bounce much better - congratulations! Hope he has a nice gentle surf tonight for you & you can get some zzzzzz's, too! (And Marje, for that matter ;-) )

File that knowledge away for future reference. It is good stuff to know - that you can shape the curve by spacing out the meal. And to know that you can do so using low carb food. At some point, you'll be able to use that info again.

I never once stayed up late when Bob was on insulin. I was pretty much oblivious however. I'm making up for it now! But really, my schedule, for 4 out of 6 weeks is "late night friendly". For those 4 weeks, the earliest I have to be to work is noon time. I'm a night owl anyway, so usually it's not messing my sleep up nearly as much as it messes up y'all's schedules.

Also, it's a lot easier from where I am sitting than it is for all of you. You're the ones with the hypos kits and sharp objects spread out all over your countertops. :lol:

Never once? Bob must take after some newborns who let their parents sleep all night & then don't wake till 8AM :lol:
