Well, it's bye bye Merrick Grammie's Pot Pie, Our luck ran out, and Maggie's bg got caught up with the spike. It's too bad, as she really likes it. I can always use it when she needs an upper, in a manner of speaking. Maggie seems to be back to her ole self after a day or so of feeling just not herself. She was back to hollering for me to get up, which is a good sign that she's back to normal. One of those wake up calls was at 10:30 pm, and I must have looked at the clock wrong, as I actually got up and made coffee, even had a cup, thinking it was morning time! I tried to go back to sleep but it didn't last. I know I'll need a cat nap today. All the P's are working today. so back to lc fuds, sorry Maggie. I think Maggie was just so wound up from Gracie's party she couldn't sleep, so she kept waking up her Bean to play. She also had one too many of those luscious Maragaritatinis! Have a nice day!

sorry the pot pie raised Maggie's BG but at least you know the culprit. It will be reserved for a treat for when she needs one.

That's right, Iorwen, as now the Grammy's Pot Pie can be used as a little treat. Now she's back to boring FF chicken feast.

Hi Roni, :lol: the Maggster was not too happy this morning to see the FF and no Grammy Pot Pie! She ate her FF Chicken and went btd, all poker faced!

Hi Devon, I will try and get that cat nap in later. I had some plans late this morning to catch up with a friend and meet for a late breakfast/early lunch. Yes, the Pot Pie seems to spike other kitties, too, unfortunately.

oh bummer on the grammie's pot pie. poor Maggie! Mannie likes that one too, but I have to save it for when he needs a boost. It does move him up some. I love the poker face response this morning.

oh my on the 10:30 wakeup call, and the coffee... sounds like how I am in the morning: wake-up call, , kitties making sure I don't forget the routine. Too bad that you couldn't get back to sleep. Maggie - you got to let your bean sleep! no more Maragaritatinis for you!

Hi Michelle, looks like Maggie came back up on just lc fuds, so good news. She's back to eating FF fuds for now. I still have Wellness I can mix in with it. Yes, I could not believe what I did with the coffee at 10:30 pm. I'm sure a nap will be in store for me later.

Oh Ann!!! Getting up, thinking it's morning!! I've never actually made the coffee, but I have shot out of bed and started racing around thinking I was late for work, etc. Of course, by the time you realize it's still nighttime and not the morning, your adrenaline has pumped through your body and you can't get back to sleep!!! I sure hope you get a nap. I know mine has made me feel like a new person today!!

Poor Ann! Gave me a chuckle as it sounds like something I would do!! Willie too wishes Grammy's Pot Pie was more present in our rotation, but alas, it is for special occasions only. Hope you guys have a great day as well!!

Too funny on getting up at 10:30! I once did the same thing and even took a shower and put on my make-up and was starting to get dressed for work when I realized it was 2:00 in the morning.

Sorry about the pot pie, although when you first mentioned not giving it to Maggie, her bg dropped to 92. I think she was trying to tell you something although she is not convincing enough now that she is 146. Back to the lc!

I may have done a fur shot, as I didn't hear the slight pop as I withdrew the syringe. Or this might be a food spike, as she's had two mini suppers after her pm shot.

ETA: I saw your question on the Surf and Turf. I feed that to Mannie on occasion - it's a 3% LC. I've have not noticed that it caused a food spike with him. He seems to have "normal" numbers when ever he gets it.
