Charms is staying in the pink today! Thanks for all the funny cat carb stories yesterday! I needed a laugh, this diabetes thing is rough at times.
Also thank you for the links to the related conditions, scary stuff. I will have to discuss it with my vet, he still thinks that I should recheck Charms thyroid, but after reading the info in the links I would suspect that those other conditions are more likely. I will have to let him think about it .

I will be raising the dose in the morning, as long as there are no objections. - Sam

Into some pinks on this dose, but we want to see some yellow. I think an increase may be due tomorrow. We're getting closer.

Woo hoo for pinks! Good boy Charms, let's try some yellows next.

Be prepared for possible resistance from your vet if you bring up acromegaly and IAA tests. Vets have been trained that these are rare conditions, but recent research has shown acromegaly is more common than previously thought. Even after consulting the local internal medicine vet specialists, my vet didn't think I needed to get the tests until Neko got to 10 units - but we maxed out at 8.75 units. She was more surprised by the positive test results than I was. But she has since recognized another acrocat in her practice - we're learning together. Just remember the vet is working for you. If you have questions, please ask - there are a few of us with acrocats on this forum.

Good luck with the new dose!

ETA: We had blueberry pie at home yesterday too.
