Big bounce from last night. Stayed with the 3.5 this morning.
Lolo did not respond to the mirtazapine. At the vets the gave her 1/16 of the pill. When I got home I tried to feed her watered down wet cat food. She took about 10 licks, so I tried to give her another 1/16 of a pill but could not get it down. So I tried to dissolve it in water and syringe feed it to her. Only about half got in her.
Going to bring her back to the vets in 30 min to see what's next for the other appy stim.

Did not get to sleep till after +9 and over slept by 2 hrs.

I will update about Lola after vet.

I bet you didn't sleep much last night-I tried to stay up to see if there was an update and I fell asleep... I hope the vet will agree this one isn't working for Lola and consider giving the cypro with better results. Poor Baby!

OTOH, I know Charlie will clear this bounce quickly!

The blood work show diabetic, they are going to keep her to do iv and dka check. I will post be results when I get home.

poor lola. what are the chances that 2 of your cats would develop diabetes?!

Forgot to get be, I think her BG was either 293 or 393 they are going to do a fruct test to see is BG is stress or actual.

Who would have ever thought that? I hope they also did a urinalysis to check for infection. Stress + infection could temporarily raise the BG. On the bright side at least you are a pro at dealing with testing et. al. Fingers and paws crossed she isn't diabetic but if she is you will deal with it well.

Poor Baby Girl - Sorry to hear this, but I agree with Elise, stress + infection could be the reason for the BG increase. Hope she is feeling better soon!

Yes they were going to do an urinalysis and some other stuff. I am calling in about an hour or so to check to see how she is doing.
 
Sure glad to hear there's no DKA! so at least you know how to make up a spreadsheet for Lola and when you do, you can put an extra tab on it to include all of her labwork results. Hope she is feeling better and eating by now!
