7/24 Shasta

WCR: Most Ps in place. I don't think she feels good. Everything about her seems a little run down and lackluster...and her appy is iffy. She hasn't pooped today and an hour after I gave her fluids, she vomited. This is the 2nd time she's done this. She did seem to perk up afterwards and acted hungry. When it was fuds time, she ate a little and walked away. She ate more when I moved her bowl to her new location, but she's still not quite herself.

I LOVE MY CAT SOOOOOO MUCH!!!! Last night, while I was reading condos, Shasta was napping on my lap. Until she suddenly awoke and with her bug radar going, she spotted a very, very, very large spider on the wall right behind my head!!! HOLY S**T!!!!! She continued to track it while I ran and got my "spider killing tools" and then stayed by my side while I killed it!!!!!! OMG...IT WAS ENORMOUS and I STILL HAVE THE HEEBIE JEEBIES!!!!! nailbite_smile :?

New question regarding sub-q fluids:
I noticed today that there were a few little air bubbles that came through the line. Should I be freaked out about this and (pardon the expression) "pull the plug"? Or since it's sub-q, they're ok?!

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Good job, Shasta, saving your bean from that awful spider. Ugh, I'm the same way but I make Anne deal with them.  I don't think the air bubbles in subcutaneous fluids are a big deal. IV air bubbles, those are a big deal.
