He was extra squirmy tonight and pulled away suddenly right as i was pushing...I THINK I got most in but it had a pretty strong smell on his fur:(:banghead::nailbiting:.

I'm so mad at myself right now :arghh:

He had only squirmed like this once before, he's usually so chill. Any tips for a squirmy cat.

but take it from me... we all do fur shots from time to time so don’t sweat it! Tomorrow is another day! He’s going down a little bit so hopefully some went in!
 
Fur shots happen. Take it as an excuse to get a good night’s sleep.

Some people shoot when kitty is distracted with head in the food bowl. I did it as part of post meal cuddle time.

I think he did get at least a little, but definitely not all.

I've been shooting while he's distracted eating. He's so much more energetic lately thought and fidgety while I position myself.

I've also noticed his skin seems for firm, not quite as easy to "tent" up. Caused by more hydration now that he's on canned food?
