Sort of back on his 5 a.m.-5 p.m. schedule. Better AMPS, wondering why he did a gentle drop from shot to +2 and then a big drop from +2 to +3... Eating now to slow down the drop...
I am thinking he is one of those super sensitive to food kitties. Handy if true because you can direct the numbers sometimes with just a few teaspoons of food.
Wouldn't surprise me if he's super sensitive to food -- he developed an insulin sensitivity (Lantus) after his vet-induce hypo back in 2008, probably why he was able to go OTJ 45 days after the hypo...
So far, knock wood, he doesn't seem (to me, anyway) to be overly sensitive to the PZ...
OK, Rob, I'm sending Chuck to you -- or, wait, we'll be in Iowa and maybe Minnesota in October, so I'll just BRING him to you. I kiss him, cuddle him, tell him how good he is, and he throws me red numbers. You wish for a number and he gives it to you...
The "Kitteh Inn" here is full but if you're in the neighborhood I'm up for a meet & greet, give Chuck some chin scritches, have a cup of coffee or drinking24 . I didn't realize that we used to be neighbors.
Rob, my son, daughter-in-law and two grands live in Mankato. Son is a detective for Mankato PD and spends a LOT of time in Minneapolis/St Paul for training. Also granddaughter has Rett Syndrome and they are at Gillette Children's Hospital a lot -- she's been airlifted (helicopter) from Mankato to St Paul twice in the last year...
I briefly considered moving back to Iowa after the scorpion in the bed episode this week <sigh!> I just hate winter in Iowa, though... too old for all the cold and snow...
I'm getting too old for the cold an snow too, but a scorpion in my bed could keep me here. I've been going back and forth between going south or even farther north when I retire. It's still a toss up.
I'll have to google Rett Syndrome but Gillette is an excellent Hostital.
