7/25 Butternut PMPS=170 +1=203 +2=244 +4=152 +4.5=110

Thanks! Wasn't sure if I needed to wait because he's not swinging upwards yet. Don't need a bonk later plus he's walking around a lot more so need to factor in "exercise." He still needs to eat his breakfast.

Nut's gait is looking more normal.

Vet today for BP check.

Sending vetty vines

He's pretty flat right now. You should be fine shooting. The vet visit may make his BG go up. Sending vetty vines.

Thanks for the vines. *we need a vines icon too* Last vet visit on 7/8 took longer than expected. He was low 200s when I left home, 134 per the vet blood draw, and hypo when I got home.:nailbiting: That was the flipping point for us to do something different and here we are tree top flying and chumming the sharks, but with a LOT more knowledge & control, and able to manage whatever comes up. It's empowering. So grateful for support and the awesome spreadsheets that don't require me to do anything but enter the data.
Now that I can watch the day to day changes, even hour to hour, I need two pairs of patience pants. ;)

I found him in an apple tree screaming his lungs out. I thought it was a catbird but decided to investigate and found a 3 mo old kitten. He was out of reach but moved towards my outstretched hand and fell into a robin's nest. I plucked him out of it and took him home. I suspect he was dumped there... entrance to a commercial bldg.

You're such a cute sweetheart Butternut! :bighug: That furry belly's just waiting for some scritches! Thank goodness for you and for the robin's nest, poor little thing. :bighug:

:cool:Blooooo streak! Luci, are you blue too?

Nut's BP is good. Weight stable. Rear legs getting stronger. My vet watched me get a blood sample from his paw pads. :) He didn't flinch and she's going to try it... prolly on the clinic cat, Boo. Poor Boo. :cat:
She can't get people to test their cats so if this is easier then maybe owners of sugar cats will at least try it. Whatever works.

Will be watching for the sharks this evening.

Thanks. :cat:
I need to wear 2-3 pair of patience pants at the same time. Testing and then charting results to learn the meanings of the patterns as they unfold is almost addictive. The learning curve, the strategies, the the action plan and carrying it out during shark attacks, problem-solving on the fly, the depth of knowledge needed to plan for time away whether a work day or a vacation, when to dose, when not to dose, when to drain the depot -- new to me, supplies and resupplies, when to summon help, etc. - is pleasantly challenging and that it all allows a person to care for a sugar cat with a ton of skill is awesome. It's manageable and fulfilling.
Thanks everyone for getting me started here. :joyful::)

headed for the lagoon already. gave additional food @ PMPS +4.5 to tap the brakes. testing again a +5. don't want a replay of 7/22.
