Alpha Trak Meter 95
Relion Micro Meter 62
Whew! Last day - did we make it? Maggie awakened me at 12:30 pm or so and wanted to eat and play, so I checked her bg, and it was 132 on the Alpha Trak (95 on the Relion). I know I'm not necessarily supposed to do another check, but was just curious. I then fed her favorite Sophisticat Chopped Grill with bf appetizer, too. Four hours later her bg was 95 on the Alpha Trak, as stated above.
She is feeling the best I've ever seen since diagnosis. She's running from living room to bedroom and jumping up onto the top of the sofa, and she's not that much of a runner with her frame body being a Manx. She must know the end is coming for me pricking and shooting. She's never minded the shooting part with insulin, but her poor ear...I had to poke several times again this morning. I am so amazed and happy with how well she's done on the Lantus. I could have never done it without LL, so thanks again everyone from Maggie and me.
